You can't keep us down
we're together
you can't destroy us
we're stronger.
We know what we want
we fight for it
we love what we do
we live for it.
We're those kids running across the streets
we're those people that revive hope
you can't charge us
we balance the world.
We scream to those politics
we walk in strikes
we love life
we won't let them take it away.
Some of us have fallen
crisis they've named it
some of us are famished
they let us die.
We sing about freedom
they precipitate us with tanks
we stay on our feet
more blood they just need.
We're fighters and we won't give up
we have something worth living
we're modern guardian angels
but they've pushed us in the shadows.
We don't have money
we're losing time
they're killing us slowly
though its just our purpose in life.
We're your keepers
we're the fighters
we hide in the shadows
we're the unknown
we're no one
we're everyone.
