Chapter two- Getting closer

When Lucian got home he didn't hear the end of it from his brother about how he left him alone while they were talking, to be honest he seemed quite upset with me and i felt bad for flipping him off. "I'm sorry Tyler, to answer your question I was thinking of having a party in the ball room so the whole pack and clan can come, there's a girl at school called Serena its here birthday that night too maybe we should invite her over and have a double birthday!" Sounding over the moon that a girl so beautiful could share the same birthday as him! "Well can i help, i mean i know her friend Jackie i could ask olli to help me out?" He pleaded " yes sure, i need all the help i can get after all it is a big deal, no messing around though"he said seriously.

Lucian text Jackie asking her to see if Serena would share a birthday party with him to double the fun and to fetch all her friends, after all the ballroom could fit over a thousand people simply because his pack and clan together was the biggest pack in the world gaining just 105 more people that the fae union who is the second largest pack of people in the world, he didn't know how as fae people were really rare these days after been hunted for there essence. He's never met a fae before in fact he has only ever met vampires, werewolves, shape shifters and witches. Maybe one day he would meet the rest of his fellow supernaturals but after the big war caused by hybrids people only ever mixed when searching for their mates at the supernatural tryouts, you go camping playing games and dancing around the fire getting to know people that are 18 or older, you go every year until you find your other half as your other half could be younger than you.

"She said sure if you don't mind it saves her time looking for a place to have a good time" was the reply he got from Jackie

Been the next in line for Alpha and emperor has its perks knowing he can have things sorted within no time at all seen as the party was 2 months away he gave his brother 2 weeks to come up with a plan and show them him. "Tyler" he mind-linked "I'll give you two weeks to plan what you think will be a great party idea" "Thanks bro i won't let you down i promise" he linked back sounding enthusiastic.

My phone pinged and wondered who it could be. Looking at my phone was a number i haven't got which means it isn't anyone i know, texting back asking who it was only to get the reply of 'well we share the same birthday, can you guess?' It then clicked that Serena had text me and for some reason my heart fluttered with joy. From then on we text for hours talking about random stuff getting to know each other.

'So you want to play a game?' Serena text
'Sure what do you want to play?' Lucian laughed knowing too well how girls liked to play games.
'20 questions, we can get to know each other more and become friends i guess, would be cool having a friend that shares the same birthday!'
' yeah we should get to know each other ill start, favourite colour? Mines green' ' blue favourite tv series mines teen wolf?' ' i think i'd have to say smallville'. The weekend went on like this exchanging text messages after text messages, i arranged to pick her up in the morning with Tyler, Olivia and Jackie knowing she would feel more at ease having her friend with her after all we only met once and text each other all weekend, he couldn't get her of his mind she was so beautiful , he still hasn't asked her what species she is as i know she definitely isn't human?

Serena had asked for Lucians number Friday after school after much hesitation Jackie finally gave it up however, it took her hours just to text him with a simple hi, what was wrong with her she never took interest in anyone after all she liked to keep herself to herself and stay unnoticed, Monday morning soon came much to her surprise Lucian was there on time when he said he would be 8:15 on the dot as school starts at 8:50 and we had to pick Jackie and her little sister Olivia up on the way. I smiled at Lucian wondering if he felt or thought the same way i did about him, I've been having dreams about me and him in the future holding a baby called Sebastian and another called Melissa. As a fae i won't know who my mate is until I'm 18 but my parents say I'm special because I'm also part demon which means i may end up dreaming of my other half like he would me, the more i practice my fae magic the more I can see of the dream that started on my 9th birthday right after my father announced i would be the next heir to the demon thrown.

Maybe i will find my mate the night of the party otherwise I'll be joining Jacob this year to the tryouts which he says is really fun but, i'd rather give it a miss I'm not very social anyway.

"Morning Jackie, how was your weekend?" I said cheerfully gaining a weird look from her, " it was fine what about yours?" She groans back, Jackie definitely wasn't a morning person at all and would kill anyone that woke her up in an instant. "I'll tell you in class!" She winked as she got out the car.
