I just laid in bed as sprinkles of rain started to hit my window. "Lori, I need to go to your grandparents house to pick something up for Christmas, go to Jacob's house in case of anything".
"Okay. Be safe it's starting to sprinkle".
"I know, might snow today. Fall is quickly turning into winter", she slid on her coat kissing my forehead as she exited my room. I heard the front door shut as I sighed. It's been an hour without any conversation from anybody, besides my mom...surprisingly.
Getting up from my bed, stumbling a bit I grabbed my clothes I set the night before on my chair as I headed towards the bathroom. Connecting my phone to the speaker I started playing Let Me Love You by Justin Bieber then undressed stepping into the shower.
"Say go through the darkest of days, heavens a heart break away-", the music stopped as my phone rang. Turning off the water, since I planned on only washing my body today I answered the phone.
"Caroline?".
"Hey, Lori. Um, I'm home alone...I was wondering if you wanted to come over and bake cookies".
"Jacob's not there?".
"No", I said yes ending the call drying myself and slipping on my outfit.

The glasses are only for a little something to the outfit. They're not prescribed at all. Tying my left shoe I stood up throwing up my hair into a decent bun, as I stuck bobby pins in. Walking downstairs I turned the alarm on then exited la casa.

"So Caroline how's college working for you?".
"Surprisingly easy", she said as we both planted our cookie dough balls on a baking sheet. "Random question, but why'd you ask of Jacob was here? You sounded weird".
"We had a photoshoot yesterday and a certain thing happened", her eyes widened as I kept my eyes on the baking sheet full of cookie dough. "Did you guys have your first kiss with each other?", I nodded my head as she grinned.
"Is that a bad thing, Lori?".
"I kind of ran away", she made an 'o' with her mouth as I just gave her a sly smile which disappeared as...Jacob walked into the kitchen. "Lori? Caroline you didn't tell me she was coming already...", I looked at both 'guilty' people then left the kitchen.
