I know that's not Jacob in the picture, but it goes with the story so...deal with it😊. Sorry if I sounded rude, I'm just trying to make a statement.

"She's falling in love now, losing control now. Fighting the truth-".

"Listening to our song I see", I turned around seeing Jacob as I finished brushing my brunette hair. "Yeah", he smiled, hugging me from behind. "You sing beautifully".

"I'm whatever".

"Stop messing around, you know it's true", I rolled my eyes as I got up and just walked a few steps, plopping down on my bed. "Lori, get dressed we're having a photoshoot. Get dressed, my photographer is waiting".

"Jacob you never said anything about a photoshoot".

"Well, I just did",I groaned as he pulled my feet, attempting to get me off the bed. "Alright, I'm picking your outfit, you have 10 minutes", I sighed closing my eyes as I heard Jacob mess around with the hangers in my closet.

I didn't even see what he was wearing, but he has a decent taste in fashion, so hopefully it's not much. "And there you are my lazy princess. Now please get up".

"Okay, fine", he smiled kissing my cheek, as I could the feel the blood rush towards them already. "I'll be waiting outside".

"Alright", Jacob smiled leaving my room, closing the door as I grabbed the outfit Jacob had picked out and took it to the restroom.  A royal blue jock sweatshirt, a pair of black leggings, and white high top converse.

Grabbing my phone I headed downstairs then outside meeting Jacob who was walking around the front lawn in circles. "Well, look at you, Rolf", he smiled looking down as I ran towards him. His arms wrapped around me as I stood on my tippie toes.

Snap!

"Well that's an adorable picture", I looked forward and saw a man...with a camera. "Um, Lori, meet David. My photographer".

"Nice to meet you", he just smiled at me as I still clung to Jacob except my feet flat on the ground now. "Let's get going", we followed David into his white BMW which had a whole lot of camera equipment in the trunk.

Surprisingly it was a clean car.

As I buckled my seat belt, I just looked out the window then felt Jacob's hand interlock with mine.

WARNING! HEART MELTING.

Lori, calm down. You've held hands a bunch of times.

This time felt different though.

"Okay, can I have both of you sit in the dry sand. Lori, rest your head on his shoulder", Jacob and I sat down on the sand as I talked to him, since David was taking the picture from the back.

"I thought this was a best friend-ly photoshoot".

"Well, princess...I don't know what else to say, but I love you", I mouthed the words I love you back to him as I rested my head on his shoulder. "Got it. Next position".

"Alright, this picture we maybe will put on all the socials if Jacob allows it, but let's kind of make it look a little romantic. Do something that you would see in those love story movies", I looked out, watching the waves crash against the shore as I felt Jacob grab my hand.

Close to falling over Jacob caught me. "Careful babygirl", I blushed lightly hitting his chest as he touched my hand smiling.

What's happening!

All of a sudden things feel normal then bam it's like there's a part 2 of reality hitting you in the face.

"Lori?".

"Yeah?".

"Nothing you just kind of seemed...lost".

"No, I was deep in thought", we shared a small chuckle as David told us to hurry up, so I looked into Jacob's eyes as he looked back at mine.

I felt his warm, yet cool hands touch my face sending goosebumps throughout my body and I'm guessing David just went along with both our faces getting closer.

No one can save you now.

"Lori, just know that what I'm about to do is not fake. I wanted to do this since...forever", Jacob mumbled against my lips as he...kissed me. There's moments where you want to savour it, but there's also times where you just want to throw it all away.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as I felt Jacob smile, until I realized what has happening.

I was kissing my best friend. My crush. Basically my everything.

I was kissing him.

I pulled away as he smiled as I just ran, Jacob chased me, but luckily I was on track team for a year so I just happened to move faster.

The drive had only been 5 minutes and I didn't really walk back home. I just went to where I spent the first rainy day of the fall season with Jacob.

I just sat there. No thinking, just staring off into "space". I felt confused and lost. Where was my place now? Where was our place? There's nothing more than confusing to make you feel tired and worked out for the whole day. I wanted to just drown in my tears which hadn't yet fallen out of my eyes.

That pit in my stomach was there again. Don't ask me why...it just was. I wasn't nervous, my hands weren't sweaty, I felt nothing, but the need for the time to move faster for the next day to come and forget all about this one.

I still just sat there, with my knees against my chest as I just rested my head there. My phone had stopped vibrating, so I decided it was finally time to check who and what was going on.

Jacob probably called from her phone while she wasn't looking. Typical. Sighing I looked up towards the sky. The clouds were gray and soon going to form a thick blanket which would hopefully perform a rain shower or a snow miracle.

I'm guessing you could say the same about me.

I got up now wanting to leave then heard leaves crunch, which I knew weren't under my feet.

"I knew I'd find you here".
