6:00. The time I hated after a week of lazily waking up after it. I got up my body quickly getting chills from my toes touching the cold, hard wood floor. Dragging myself to the bathroom, I brushed my teeth then hair letting it cascade down my back. I took a deep breath, rubbing my eyes looking in the mirror.
"Just one more day", I smiled to myself thinking that I would be in Jacob's arms in the time of 24 hours. The thought made me smile and immidetly boosted up a little in my exhausted pigeon self. I got out the bathroom turning off the lights and walking towards my closet.
Every time Jacob had left for tour he gave me two of his sweatshirts to remember him. There's really only one that I wear all the time though. The famous maroon one pocketed sweatshirt with bright colors on the sleeves.

I took it from the hanger as it still smelt like his cologne, I slipped it on, hugging myself reminding me of him and his warmth. Jeans weren't really my thing and my black leggings were already on so, I left my room with a complete outfit, slipping on my Vans of course.
"Morning mom".
"Morning. Lori come here, I have some great news", I smiled running like a maniac toward the marbled kitchen, sitting down on one of the chairs. "I decided to put you in home school, so today's your lucky last day of public school".
"Mom...thank you so much!", she laughed as I started to jump around, "hey, monkey come on I still have to drive you to school today", I nodded my head, grabbing my awfully heavy backpack, which already was causing a burning sensation in my shoulder.

"Mom, are you okay? Do you need to get your eyes checked?".
"No, it's just you're wearing Jacob's sweatshirt. Is there something between you two?", she raised her eyebrows as I groaned. "Mom, no. We're just best friend's and he happens to let me keep this and the other sweatshirt when he's gone", she hummed in response pulling up to the school .
"Okay, bye mom".
"Bye", my cheeks instantly turned pink as the cold air hit them. I opened the doors and like everyday the normal routine went by. I get in, most girls start pointing at me saying I have the Jacob Sartorius sweatshirt, I just smile.
"Lori!", I looked back and saw my friend, Elena. "Can I help you?".
"What do you think Jacob's eyes look like up-close?", she fangirled 24/7 over Jacob. I wasn't even allowed to tell her the secret, so I had to keep this one on the DL. "Really light when the sun hits them, and sometimes they can look blue or green, but either way, they're beautiful", Elena looked at me in aw.
"Well, the bell rang as you were in a daydream, but I got to get to first period", I just smiled making my (way downtown) to history as the door opened letting an obnoxious amount of kids in.
;history
"The Byzantine Empire, blah blah blah", I wondered into my thoughts knowing that the substitute didn't know that we learned this already. I thought about tomorrow, I would sleep in for the longest time ever and probably be surprised by Jacob or vise versa. "Lori?", I looked up to see everyone looking at me to answer the question on the board, even though there were several.
"Eastern Orthodox Church, and The Hagia Sophia represented Heaven".
"Look who's paying attention...you must have an A in this class", I just smiled looking down, as everyone shot me bullets. The rest of the class was boring and I already knew everything, so my thoughts kept running and running.
Ring!
I smiled being the first one out the class, bumping into many people that don't even know about my existence. "Lori, did you see Jacob's snapchat...He's with Hunter and Mark and he said he's going to surprise someone", I smiled as she brought out her phone showing me.
"Hey, guys, let's make today a great day, it's gonna be pretty lit", he made a face which made me laugh.Elena put away her phone as I sighed, "what's wrong? You seem a little off today?".
"Oh, nothing just something on my mind", she nodded her head, walking towards her locker, leaving me behind.

"So, how's was your last day of public school".
"Eh, it's whatever...just like any other school day", she just smiled pulling into the driveway as my phone started to vibrate with Jacob's face popping up on my screen.
"Hi".
"Hey, babes".
"Don't call me that", he just laughed as I looked at the background. "Where are you? It looks familiar".
"Nowhere, I'm in the hotel, I just got finished packing since I'm coming home soon".
"I can't wait", I smiled to the camera as I saw his face. Looked happy as always. "Okay, our ubers here, I gotta go, but I love you, see you tomorrow, literally".
"I love you too".
;later on ( at home)
After going over what home school stuff I got to do time went by and I laid in bed scrolling through my phone looking at random Instagram pages. "Lori, can I come in?".
"Sure", in walked my mom with a cup of two ice cream scoops. Cookies and cream. "In honor of something you'll find out soon".
"Um okay?", she walked out the room as I began eating the ice cream, my taste buds exploding. My phone started to ring as I answered it, knowing Jacob always called me before his flights.
"Hey, Rolf".
"Hey, so what if I told you I'm right outside your bedroom door?".
"I would kick your ass if you weren't, duh, have you met me, Sartorius?", he hummed as I saw my door knob move then, something happened which made me burst into tears.
"Surprise", I jumped off my bed running into Jacob's arms wrapping my legs around his waist, my teared up face digging into his neck. I didn't want to let go and I felt like he didn't either.
"Don't let go".
"I won't".
8:48 (Virginia) We're smiling, but so close to tears.
