Story of ALPHA & AZARIA

3rd chapter

Azaria's pov:
I wake up and its 6pm. Did i just spend half of my birthday sleeping? I question myself stupidly, yeah expect me to sleep in on important days, i laugh at myself.

I jump out of bed and wash myself and throw on some trackies and a hoodie before i head downstairs. Thats wierd all the lights are off. Before i reached the switch to turn on the lights

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Mum and dad turn on the lights and jump out of no where making all that party noise go off and then pull me into a hug.

"Thanks mum and dad yo didnt have to do all this," i look to see a table full of my favourite sweets and desserts.

"This is the only time i will be letting you eat junk, okay," dad says with a grin on his face and i laugh

Im usually not allowed to eat sweets cause dad trains me almost everyday besides today he let me off. Im not gonna lie his training is extremely hard, he taught me how to fight and how to use all sorts of weapons big and small. I feel like an assasin with his hardcore challenges. One time he made steal a baby cub and take up to a mountain while being chased by its parents and gang.

I dont know why he teaches me all this stuff. Everytime i ask he would just say 'You will need this in the future, if something happens to your mother and i you will have to take care of yourself out here." Same reason he had for the last 15 years.

I look at both of them on the table and smile at them very grateful. They way they looked at each other was like the have fallen in love with each other again. I know for sure that i want a relationship just like theirs in the future.

"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Azaria, Happy birthday to you!" Mum and dad sing to me aloud in harmony

"Come on close your eyes and make a wish" mum says grabbing my hand

"Any wish you would like," dad says sarcastically, resulting in mum punching his arm

"Im kidding, go on sweetie," he smiles at me while rubbing his sore arm

"Okay here goes," i close my eyes
'I wish everything could stay happy like this forever'. Then i blow out the candles.

"Rraaaaa!" a loud growl came from outside and got louder when it came closer to the house.

Before i could look outside mum and dad grabbed me and ran to the basement.

"How'd they find us Jerry?" Mum ask so worried

"I dont know how they passed all the traps," Dad yells back while packing a backpack with money and stuff enough for us to survive.

"What is it?" I ask confused. They both looked like they knew what it was but didnt wanna tell me.

"Just tell me now!" I break the silence and rush

"Theres no need to worry" mum says rubbing my hand

Upstairs sounded like a tornados got in the house. Everything was cracking sounds of smashing and a loud growl to go with it. Great what a fun birthday party.

"Azaria listen to me carefully. We have stuff we really want to tell but cant because we made a promise. Here take this bag and weapon to protect yourself," dad says while putting the backpack on my shoulders and handing me a bow and arrow. He knows im the best when it comes to archery. He doesnt admit that im even better than him.

"This is what i have been preparing you for Aza so now is the time to show it off" dad smirks at me which makes me smirk back

"Im ready," mum held my hand and we all run out of the basement and straight to where all the noise was. For some wierd reason i wasnt scared of what i was going to face. Mum and Dad gave me confidence and having them both by my side i felt safe.

I look up to see six a big ugly grey wolfs. I froze for a while and flashback to the dream i had. They were the things that killed the babies parents. Im in shock and start to shake.

"Rogues," dad says with a growl which sounded similar to theirs

Two ran towards me but i couldnt move cause I was still in shock and my knees trembling. Dad and mum runs and both turns into a wolf just like them but even bigger and prettier.

"What. In. The. World." was all i could let out.
Mum and dad are werewolves. How did i not know about this? I watch the whole fight for a good two minutes til mum and dad took out all the rogues, well thats what dad called them. I was pretty amazed but confused and scared at the same time.

They turn back to human form and walk towards me.

"Stay away," i hold up my bow and arrow at them.

"Calm down sweetie its us your parents," mum says with that same soothing voice which calms me to put my bow down and run towards both of them and hugging them.

"Sorry we didnt tell you before, but your mother and i are what you call werewolves," dad jumps in

"Uhh no fn way, i just saw it all dad," i spat back sarcastically

"So does that mean im one too?," i ask back a bit excited

"No honey your full human, and i cant tell you how," mum says knowing that i wouldve asked the same thing

Here i am again useless and cant even help my parents just like i did in the dream. I sigh and put my head down.

"There's no time for this we need to leave before more come back," dad states the obvious

Before we could leave our house was surrounded by nasty looking rogues.

"Well well well, look who we found here," a bald man who looks in his late 30s walks towards us

"Thought you could hide her away all these years huh," he looks at me and starts to laugh

Just as he went to open his mouth dad shifted back in to a wolf and clawed the mans mouth.

"Dad!" I scream before a bunch of rogues run towards him

"Azaria, runaway and hide and never come back," Mum kisses me and hugs me with tears in both our eyes before she parted and shifted into a wolf biting and clawing rogues throats apart.

I look at dad and he gives me one last look into my eyes and just from that i knew this would be our last time together. I wipe my tears away and run towards the forest arrowing any rogue that came in my way.

As soon as i made it to the forest i heard a loud howl like a wolf cry then a whimp after. Its dad hes gone. I burst into tears and cry even more covering my mouth so the rogues wont hear. Im all alone in this dark forest, what am i to do now....
