Norma and Alex woke up at the same time. They rarely wake up at the same time. When the woke up they looked at each other and laughed. "We never wake up at the same time!" She said. "Ya, I know it's quite funny actually" he said. Norma got up and made a call to have an ultrasound done. She made a appointment for 9 a.m. Alex got up and made the bed. He walked into the bathroom and went in the shower. Norma made the appointment and went downstairs to make breakfast. She made eggs and bacon. When Alex was done taking a shower he got dressed and walked downstairs. "It smells good Norma, what is it?" He said. "Bacon and eggs" she answered. "Your favorite" she said. "Yea it is" he said with a smile. He grabbed a plate and sat down at the table. Norma grabbed a plate and sat down across from Alex. "Your coming with me to the ultrasound right?" Se said. "Of coarse, why wouldn't I" he answered. "I don't know" she said with a laugh. They ate their breakfast and Norma had to get in the shower. Alex was cleaning up after eating and he sat on the couch and watched TV. Norma was finished and got dressed. She put on a maternity light pink shirt on and maternity black pants on. "Are you ready to see the baby?" She said. "Yes, I'm so excited!" He said with a smile. He walked over and grabbed his keys to his SUV. They walked out of the house and Norma locked the door. Alex started the car and they held hands all the way to the place.
They drove to the place and walked in. They checked in and walked right into the room. There wasn't a wait so that's how they got in quickly. Norma laid down on the bed and the woman put cold gel on her stomach. "Ohh that's cold" she said a slight laugh. The woman pulled up the monitor and they saw the baby. "Oh my god, this is happening" Norma said with tears filling her eyes. Alex looked her and held her hand. His eyes started to tear also. "Is this your first?" the woman asked. "Well, this is our first baby together, yes. I have a son who's 18" Norma said. "Congratulations!" The woman said. "Thank you" they both said. Norma looked at Alex and saw he was tearing more than she was. She leaned up and gave him a kiss. "Do you want to know gender?" the woman asked in a polite way. "Yes I hope it's a girl" Alex said. "I want it to be a girl too" Norma said. "Your both right, it is a girl!" the woman said surprisingly. "Yay! I'm so happy" Alex said. Norma started to cry. "It's okay" the woman said. "I know it's just that I am going to be a mother of two now" Norma said. Alex stroke his thumb on her cheek to wipe the tears on her face. The woman took a picture of the baby and printed it out for them. Norma sat up and stood up. "Here you go" the woman said handing them the picture. They walked out and walked to the car. "I can't believe we're gonna have a baby Alex!" She said. "I know, but it's happening" he said.  She held the picture out to show Alex. He stared at it for a while. He looked over and put a hand on Norma's belly. Se put her hand on top of his and rubbed his palm.
"We have to get some baby things" she said. "Okay let's go to Babies R Us" he said. "Okay" she answered. They drove to the store and walked in. They held hands and walked over to the cribs. Norma and Alex saw one they both liked. It was white and had a changing side,so you change the baby's diaper or change their clothes. They picked that one and picked out a dresser for the baby too. They picked a white one that matches the dresser. Finally they bought a bunch of clothes for the baby girl. "Okay, pick our clothes for our little girl" Alex said with a smile. "I will pick the pajamas, you pick the clothes to wear during the day" Norma said. They picked out a whole bunch of clothes for their baby girl. Norma picked the cutest pajamas in the whole store. Alex picked the cutest day clothes in the whole store. After getting the clothes they had to go back and get the boxes for the crib and the dresser. Alex paid $475 for everything and Norma thanked him. Later that night they watched TV and ate dinner. Alex made Chicken Parm. After eating they went upstairs and went to bed. "Goodnight Norma" he said. "Goodnight babe" she said. She leaned in and gave him a kiss and laid back down and went to sleep.
