"She's still human Bruce. She didn't do anything wrong."

"Except major theft," Bruce pointed out to his former protégé.

"Jason did some pretty stupid things before you found him. I would have done some pretty stupid things if you hadn't gotten to me first!" Nightwing argued.

"That was a different scenario entirely."

"How?" Nightwing was getting angrier by the second.

"Because she's my daughter!" Bruce answered back sharply. "She's Damian's twin. She's supposed to be one of us. Damian nearly killed dozens of people when he was unchecked. She's better trained than most of the league! It's for safer everyone if, until she learns not to kill, she stays there."

"In a cage," Nightwing spat at his old mentor. "Did you forget that Damian had to train with me before he learned that lesson?"

"What's your point?"

"She doesn't need a cage, she needs a leash. Let me train her for awhile, until she understands."

"No way. I'm not releasing her. It's to dangerous for others."

Nightwing sighed and ran his hand throw his hair. He looked around. "Where's Damian?"

Damian stormed in and back out without addressing Batman and throwing Nightwing an angry hello.

"He'll understand someday," Bruce said in attempt to convince the both of them.

"Maybe he will, but I don't think the same can be said about her," Nightwing shot a glance towards where the cells were.

Before any more argument could be made a paper began to float in the air. Soon another paper joined it. Before long everything not bolted down was floating other than the two men. Everything was still for a few seconds until a single glass paper weight dropped. Suddenly everything crashed into everything else. In seconds, the cave was destroyed and broken things littered the floor. Nightwing ran to the cells while Batman ran in the opposite direction to check on Damian. He found his son protected, just barely, surrounded by shards of broken glass. Damian looked steadily at the danger around him, amazed by the ring.

The ring. It was the best place on earth. In it, people preformed feats that amazed thousands. The ring had become my home.

I ran as quickly as I could, trying to catch the tamer before he went on. I had to tell him about Simba's paw.

"Easy," the tamer caught me at the shoulders before I fell. "You keep running like that, Haly will have to find a new acrobatic kid."

"Simba's paw," I huffed out of breath.

"I know, he's not going," the tamer laughed. He looked at the shiny platinum watch on his wrist. "Midas is going on. You better get going, or you'll be late for your leg of the show."

"Good luck," I called, already speeding off to where my adoptive parents were stretching out.

"Hey there kiddo! You ready?"

"Yup," I smiled before disappearing to change into a tight red uniform.

I reappeared from behind the curtain and somersaulted towards the curtain. Just as Haly began to introduce us we ran to the three pedestals. I took a deep breath in before grabbing my trapeze, and swung gracefully towards the center of the ring. I released the trapeze and grabbed my mom's wrists. My body swung, flipping me back to my own trapeze. We did a couple simple tricks before I started to dismount. I swing my legs up around the bar before flipping off. My body straightened out and I began to let my body fall in an X. I landed on the ground and instantly carried into a somersault. I waited for the sound of the two bodies whistling down to greet the ground. When I didn't, I looked up to see my adoptive parents falling. Time seemed to slow almost to a stop. The bars of the trapeze landed with a crash on the ground beside me.
