"Vic, you'll be fine...the bell is going to ring in 2 minutes" Jaime said trying to boost Vic's confidence up. Vic shook his head and laid it softly on his desk.

He groaned, "I want to back out but if I do he'll hate me"

Jaime laughed and started to pack up his bag, "well, I have a date to tonight—" the bell rang, "—so good luck buddy" Jaime quickly came up with a lie so Vic won't ask him to stay with him after school. Vic tried to yell out for Jaime but he bolted through the classroom door.

Meet him in the back of the school, Vic thought to himself slowly rising up from his seat. He was the last one to leave the classroom.

He scurried to the boy's restroom, surprisingly finding it empty. He walked towards the mirror to examine himself.

Red hat? Check. Gray tee? Check. Black skinny jeans? Check.

"I look okay" Vic said to himself. He took a deep breath in and out before walking out of the bathroom. He dragged his feet to the back entrance of the school.

He slightly opened the door, poking his head out, scanning the outdoors for Kellin.

And there he was.

Sitting under a tree and possibly reading a book or probably on his phone—it was hard to tell since he was far.

Vic slipped through the door and slowly made his way to Kellin. Before approaching him, Vic could feel his heart beat hitting his chest. Vic thought it would be best instead of awkwardly saying hi, he'll come up with a joke. And just like that Vic knew exactly what he was going to do, which made him less nervous.

Vic approached the tree but not Kellin, he walked passed Kellin but made sure to gain his attention.

Kellin looked up from the book he was reading, watching a Vic walk by with one eyebrow raised.

Vic stopped in his tracks, putting his hands on his hips signaling that he was thinking/was confused about something. He turned around and caught eye contact with Kellin and smiled and walked towards him.

"Hi" Kellin spoke.

"Hello. I have a question."

Oblivious, Kellin said "Okay"

"Do you believe in love at first sight or should I walk by again?" Vic joked. Kellin face turned red as chuckled a bit and rolled his eyes. Kellin marked his page in his book and tossed it aside.

"I may be believe in it now" Kellin said back leaving Vic speechless and red.
