Chapter 12:Just the Two of Us

~•one week later•~
~•Riker•~

I still haven't talked or even looked at Raina since what I did. I'm so stupid. She probably hates me now.

Right now I'm just laying in my bed in Rocky's and I bedroom. I hear a soft knock on the door.

"Come in." I tell the person. The door opens slightly and I see half of Raina's face.

"Are you sure?" She asks. I nod my head. She walks in with red puffy eyes and her long blonde hair in a fishtail braid.

I pat the stop on my bed next to me so she will sit. She does. We just sit in silence, waiting for one another to talk.

"I'm so sorry." I speak first. She looks away.

"Me too."

"Why?"

"Because I never told you."

"No I was stupid, you were only here for a day and I was pushing it."

Her eyes meet mine.

"You shouldn't be sorry." She whispers.

"But I am, I hurt you verbally and physically." I whisper back.

"Well then I think I deserve a sorry present." She jokes.

Her eyes wander to my lips and back to my eyes. I get the message and begin to lean in putting my hands on her waist. She wraps her arms around my neck and begins to lean in to.

Soon our lips meet. Hers are soft. I kiss her passionately.

Soon we both pull away. It get awkward fast.

"You wanna go swimming?" I ask nervously rubbing the back of my neck.

"Yea I'll tell the others." She stands up. I grab her wrist.

"Everybody left. The guys went to the beach. Rydel and my Mom went shopping." I tell her.

"Why wasn't I invited?"

"You were still sleeping."

"Oh, well I'll go change." She winks at me then walks out.

I quickly change into my blue swim trunks and walk outside, waiting for Raina.


~•Raina•~

After changing I walk to the back door and hear singing

"Oh no. Here we go hear you voice on the radio like every single song is about you." It is Riker.

I walk out and begin to clap. He turns his head around and blushes.

"Don't be embarrassed, that was really good!" I sit next he him, letting my feet touch the cold water.

"Thanks." He looks at me. I smile and he returns it.

"So are we going swimming or not?" I jump up. He does the same and is centimeters away from me. He grabs my chin to pull me closer. Our lips brush each others. Then


I pull away and run towards the diving board.

"Hey!" He yells. "What was that for!"

"You already had a kiss today!" I laugh.

I am just about to jump off when I feel two strong arms wrap around my waist.

"Doesn't mean I can't get another one!"

I release myself from his grip and jump in the water. He dives in after me. I swim up to the surface and Riker wasn't there.

"Riker don't do this." I say.

I feel something behind me, but I don't move. His arm snake around my waist.

"I got you now." He whispers sending chills all over my body.

He moves my hair to one side and begins to kiss my neck on the other side. I bite my lip trying to hold my moans.

He turns me around and presses his lips against mine. I put my arms around his neck.


After a few moments we pull away. i smile and slide out of his grip and swim away under the water.


"Hey!" It wasn't Riker.

"Oh, hi Ellington." Riker says.

"Where's the princess." He asks.

"Why would you care?"

"Because I would like to speak to her."

"About what?"

"Damn Riker! Just let me talk to my old friend."

"Fine."

Riker swims over to me and and gives me a reassuring smile. I nod my head and get out of the water.

"Hello little princess." Ellington gives me a fake smile.

I can already tell this "talk" isn't going to end well...
