Chapter 21: The Break in p:3

It's time for my daily whipping. The day after I can back they began to whip me. They do it to Brian too but its strange because I never hear him.

"Alright you know what to do." The guard tells me.

The cellar is actually really big. In the middle of it is a metal post. Thats where they handcuff me and whip me.

I take off my shirt leaving me in my bra, stand behind the post and have my arms resting in the cuffs.

He locks them.

"Hey keep the princess safe, there has been some break ins." A person says through the walkie-talkie.

The guard takes the whip and raises it.

Then he brings it down. A stinging pain runs through my back and I scream in pain. I begin to cry.

He does this many more times until I hear a bullet and something hit the ground.

"We got her!" A familiar voice says cheerfully.

Riker.

"Raina! Raina!" He is banging on the door.

"Riker!" I manage to get out.

"How do we get in!"

"The door is broken just kick it down."

"Okay ready. 1. 2. 3!"

I hear the door fall down and two cold hands touch my shoulders.

"Raina, are you okay?" It's Ell.

I don't answer him.

He unhooks me and helps me stand up. I see Riker and run to him and hug him.

"I missed you." I begin to cry again.

"I missed you too." He says. I pull away and get a closer look at him.

He is wearing what seems like a army kinda outfit and has a gun.

I think he is getting a closer look at me too...If you know what I mean!

"Um we are on a tight schedule, so I think it would be better to say lovey dovey stuff to each other AFTER we get out of here!" Ellington hisses.

I put back on my shirt.

I wonder what his problem is.

I'm sick and tired of Riker and Raina.

Okay okay you got me. I'm a little jealous of them because I had Raina first but I think she likes him more.

"Alright, it may have been easy to get in, but it's going to be harder trying to get out." I tell me. "Just follow me."

I exit the door and begin to walk to the door that Riker and I got into.

"Raina!" Someone calls.

I turn to see Brian with mixed emotions.

"What are you doing?" He asks.

"Leaving." She answers.

"You can't do that! This is your home! This is where you belong!"

"Well I don't belong in the dungeon!" She hisses back.

"Raina, don't do this."

"Brian, what happened to you?! You wanted to escape in the first place! What did they do to you?"

"Raina, it was me."

"What do you mean?"

"I told Ellington to do this, to take you back here so you would be punished!"

She turns to me with tears in her eyes.

"Raina I-" I try to explain.

"Save it!" She yells. "Brian why?"

"Because you always got the fame and you are going to be queen while I'll be a prince my entire life."

"So, thats nothing to be worried over!"

"Yes it is! I was taught to be king, I was born to be king!"

"Raina come on, he's stalling!" Riker grabs her arm.

"You know what Brian if you want to be king so badly here you go." Raina yanks Riker's gun from his hand and points the gun to her stomach.

"NOOO!" We all scream but its to late she pulls the trigger and her lifeless body falls to the ground.
