It was later on that afternoon that Bray came back with Trudy. Quite honestly I wasnt too happy to see her, as she had played with both Bray and Zoot/Martin's feelings, but i wasnt going to turn her away, especially since her stomach looked ready to burst. Bray, Martin and I honestly have no idea how they fell for her bullshit, but we all make mistakes.
They made what you could call a dramatic entrance, with the big doors to the sewer slamming open, and i think that was trudy's idea. It was heard all over the mall, and everyone came rushing down the stairs as they walked up to them. Id already told everyone they were coming, but they were just shocked by the dramatic entrance, expecting it to be the Locos even though Martin promised not to bring them when we met up earlier (Jack and I are good friends with the Locos and Martin quite honestly wants nothing to do with Trudy's bullshit, he just cares about the baby).
"Trudy" I said, not really hiding my disdain toward her presence.
"Hello Kalani. Couldnt have chosen a nicer place could you?" She said snootily.
"Just remember that the only reason we are letting you stay here is because Bray asked and because Jack and I arent cruel enough to turn a pregnant girl away. Besides, im sure Ebony would love to see you" I replied, smirking at that point. Her face then fell at the thought of seeing Ebony.
"Im guessing your the leader then. Not that youd give anyone else a choice" she said, digging a deeper hole for herself.
Surprisingly, Bray decided to join the conversation at that point, not looking impressed.
"She is the leader, we all chose her unanimously. Stop being a brat Trudy, your lucky shes letting you stay" he said. I wasnt expecting to say that, and i definitely wasnt expecting everyone to agree.
"And whats the name of this tribe then?" Trudy asked.
"Were the Mallrats" Lex said.
