Letter to Mama

Dear Mama,

You brought me into this world

And promised to be the best,

But you sold me to the unknown,

Where I grew up till I was old.

I worked as slave for my bread,

For days and decades in my days.

My adapter called me "babe"

For his supper everyday.

I lost dignity to this man,

who made my life a living hell!

His eyes were that of a cat,

Which brightened in the darkness.

His touch was rough

And he was very wild.

His presence caused me to cry,

As he would beat me too hard.

Even if I impressed him so much,

He still was never satisfied.

Why do this to your child after the time and this pain?
