Chapter 13

~Gon's POV~

"I think we should break up"

"...W-Wait, no... Are you being serious?"

"...Yes, but we can be friends"

"B-But, I love you"

"I'm sorry Gon"

(Y/n) walked away and I tried to keep my cool.

I watched as Armin ran off with (Y/n) and Killua came over to comfort me.

"Hey, what happened?"

"..."

"It's okay, you can tell me"

"Sh-She broke up with me"

"What? I'm sorry to hear that..."

~(Y/n)'s POV~

I walked back to the hotel with Armin and kept a poker face the entire time.

I didn't want to break up with Gon but it was the only thing to do.

When we got back to the hotel, Armin let me stay in his room so that I could talk to him about it.

"So, what happened?"

"I broke up with Gon"

"Why? I thought you loved each over"

"I do. I still do, but he keeps getting jealous and I can't deal with it anymore"

I started crying and Armin comforted me.

"Shh... It's okay, it's okay"

I gasped when I suddenly thought of something.

"What is it?" Armin asked.

"I-Is this how you felt when I rejected you"

"...Yeah"

"I'm sorry Armin. I hope this isn't too late, but, will you go out with me?"

"Yes"

~Gon's POV~

Pang

I clutched my chest.

"What is this feeling?"

"Maybe we should get back to the hotel" Killua said.

"Yeah"

We went back to the hotel and I saw a sight I didn't want to see.

(Y/n) and Armin were holding hands.

Pang Pang

"There's that feeling again..."

I ran past them before they could see me and ran into my room.

Killua didn't follow me but he came back later and knocked on my door.

I opened the door.

"...Gon... You might not want to hear this but..."

"Just tell me"

"...Armin and (Y/n) are in a relationship"

Pang Pang Pang

~Killua's POV~

I made my way to Gon's room to tell him the news.

I knocked on the door and he opened it.

"...Gon... You might not want to hear this but..."

"Just tell me"

"...Armin and (Y/n) are in a relationship"

As soon as I said that, Gon's face went pale.

"Maybe... I shouldn't have told him..."

He looked like he was shaking but when I looked at his mouth he was smiling.

He started laughing and it soon sounded psychotic.

I ran away before he went any further.

"He's gone insane..."
