Grayson and Lucy were sitting on his back porch, peacefully looking at the sky. A normal Sunday, right? Nothing more than a day to relax. At least, that's what the two kids thought. "So, about that dream you had,"  said Lucy sternly. "What about it?" asked Grayson. "You were wriggling like a worm in your sleep, and you said something about jumping in a ravine," she said. "Just a nightmare,"  he remarked. "You were dreaming about killing yourself! That's not good!" she exclaimed. Grayson snickered, "You're jumping to conclusions again." Lucy sighed. "You're so difficult." "I know." She ruffled her brunette hair and scowled, "Just tell me what's going on with you already." He huffed and said, "Okay, okay, god! You don't have to growl at me, tiger." "Tiger?" Lucy remarked. She snickered. Grayson said, "Okay, fine. I'll tell you about The Queen." Lucy asked, "What, like a queen of monsters?" Grayson replied, "Yeah. What else, a monster Hitler?" Lucy rolled her eyes and sighed, "Go on." Grayson said with some arrogance, "So, The Queen is talking with me through my dreams-" Lucy interrupted him, "How long?" "About a month.." Grayson trailed off. She slapped her forehead. She started to say something, but she cut off herself and calmly said, "Continue." He told her about the path to the ravine, about the attackers, and how only two kids can stop them. I only cut that off to make sure you don't know what's happening. Ha. "So, when do you jump into this ravine..?" she questioned. Grayson's eyes went wide. "Tonight." "Oh my god, you haven't done anything for this trip, even if it was real?" "It is real, and.. yeah, I haven't done anything for it.." he trailed off. Lucy stared into the sky and then said, "I mean, the same dreams don't happen every single night for a month. Wait.. two kids..?" slowly whispered Lucy. Grayson smiled. "You're coming with me!"  he yelled. "Oh no no no, that has to be a mistake! I'm not jumping into a crack in the earth!" Lucy yelped.  "Oh come on! It's just maaaaaagic,"He replied. "Kids, come on in!" yelled Grayson's mother. "Why?" they both asked. Both nervously thought their mother overheard their conversation. "We need to go grocery shopping before I take Lucy home," said the mother. "After all, you do want to hang out with her as much as possible." The children sighed, and they had a grocery shopping adventure. There wasn't anything major, but it definitely took a good chunk out of their time. They helped carry the bags out of the car, and they took some cheese and ham for their bags. Grayson's mother said, "Sorry that took up all of your time! You have to leave, I don't want your parents worrying about you." Lucy asked, "Can I call my dad to see if I can stay over?" Lucy asked as sweetly as possible. "We have things to do tonight that we need to get ready for, hun." Said Grayson's mother. Both children looked at each other, with wide eyes. They needed as much time as possible to set up for their adventure. Lucy whispered, "Text me." Grayson nodded his head, and the two separated with a goodbye. Lucy ran home as fast as she could, and threw the door open.  She quickly thought of what to bring for her trip, but then unfocused when she heard a loud voice scream, "Oh my god! Lucy, guess what I got!" Lucy scowled. Older sisters are so cringe worthy. Lucy grunted, "What." "Oh my god! Oh my god! I got us some tickets to your most loved band!" "Oh no, not.." whined Lucy. "Yass it is! And, it's my favorite too!" Lucy winced. "Isn't Dad here?" "Nope. Nobody to save you this time, Loony Luce." she mischievously cackled. Lucy said a silent prayer. At that very moment, she hoped magic was going to save her from this concert. Oldest sibling, Let's call her OS, locked the doors out of the house. Lucy ran into her room, and slammed the door. Where did her dad go this time? Will lucy make it out of the concert? Why am I making rhetorical questions? I don't know. Find out!
