Ashley was right about always having someone. You just have to see it for yourself and then, you will understand how lucky you are. In my story, Ashley was extremely lucky. Victims of abuse have been known to suffer everything from bruises to cuts to internal bleeds and broken bones. Rape can occur and sometimes, the abuser may go as far to even kill the abused woman or man whether it is accidental or not. Even worse than that is some abused people feel like they have no one to turn to, no idea what to do or how to escape. They feel so helpless... That they resort to suicide.

The statistics are horrendous and abuse occurs everyday. But only you can make a difference. Down below, I will post as many helplines for countries as I can. Always remember that someone will listen, you just need to take the first, scary step and speak up. But please make sure you get help before it is too late.
