Double tapping it I liked the photo and laughed at Justice comment talking about 'Look at my babies y'all cute damn near twinning' and she tagged me. I huffed standing up and stretching my phone ring violently loud in my hand I looked down to see Karter name flash sliding the bar I answered.
"Hey baby bro wha--" I stopped talking listening to his background.
"What's that noise Karter where are you" I grabbed my keys and damn near sprinted to my car.
"Karter you gotta talk to me" he still ain't said shit and I was getting frustrated and worried.
"It burns" was all he got out
"Where are you Karter"
I waited to see if he answered and when he didn't I said fuck it and ended up calling my daddy on three way.
"What's up baby girl wait where you at who shooting"
Hearing the panic in him made me speak faster "It's not me it's Karter daddy he on the line too he won't tell me where he is just that it burns".
I heard shuffling before I heard my moms voice asking my dad what was wrong "I need you to track Karter phone" she said ok and I pulled to the side of the road waiting.
"Kiah you come to the house I'll go get Karter" I sighed
"Ok daddy".
He hung up and I kept the phone on only cause Karter was still on the line I was to scared to hang up "Karter" I said his name one more time hoping for a response but didn't get one just shallow breathing. Moments later I heard someone in the background "Karter bro get up man" I didn't know who it was but I wanted to hear what else he had to say "One of y'all niggas help me man he bleeding" in that moment I felt my self stop breathing I subconsciously stepped on the gas going faster before I heard the line go dead.
