Sabre's PoV
I now had the money to go out and buy somewhat of school supplies. I opened the laptop that I stole and opened a browser, and searched for Featherton High School, then opened the thing for what you need for school. I picked up a pen and wrote everything down on a piece pf paper. "Laptop, got that, pencils, pens, markers, and a lot of other crap. Got it." I muttered to myself. I tucked the computer back into the hidden compartment and headed towards Walmart. I walked through the open doors, and glanced around. I headed towards the arts and crafts section, assuming that was where most things on this list was, now with a basket in my hands. I stopped at the area. Everything was definitely here. Then, a hand was placed on my shoulder, and I jumped, turning in a 180 to face the person. Shark. "Jeez man! You scared the life out of me!" I yelped, and the sunglasses wearing boy simply laughed. "I saw you walk over here. You're actually joining a school?" he said, then asked. "Featherton High School to be exact." I replied with a small shrug. "Really? Sweet! That's the school I go to!" Shark chirped. I chuckled. "Do you need help getting supplies?" he asked. "Sure, if you want to help me." I said. He smiled. "Great! Come on." I followed him, until he paused. "What do you need?" he asked. "I have a laptop already, so, everything on this list." I handed him the list. "Okay." he said, then took the basket out of my grasp and trotted off. I started exploring the area, looking at interesting things and posters. Then, I saw Shark walk up to me in my peripheral vision, and I turned to him. He jumped. "How can you see out of that bandana?" he asked, bewildered. "Once I trust you a lot, I'll show you. And by the way. You're actually the most trustful person I've met. And coming from me, who doesn't trust many people, means a lot." I replied, smirking. He sighed and nodded, then held up the basket, which was filled to the brim with supplies. "All you need now is a bag, or backpack, whatever you want." Shark told me. I nodded. We headed out to the area, and I looked around, then chose a simple green and black bag. "Nice." Shark commented. We walked to the checkout, and I pulled out the wallet. "If you don't have enough, I'll help pay." Shark told me. I shook my head. "It's okay, you don't have to pay." I replied. He followed, still holding the basket. We walked to the empty checkout, and set the basket on the small area. I placed the backpack on the tread as the man stared at the bandana. This'll be a bit.
Few minutes later
"That'll be one-hundred and thirty-four dollars." the man said. I sighed, and pulled out a hundred dollar bill and thirty dollars. "Crap." I growled. Then, Shark placed one-hundred and fifty on the desk. My eyes widened. He took the money, then gave Shark the change. We picked up the bags, and put them in the backpack. I lifted it on my shoulder as we walked out of he building. "Why did you do that?" I asked. Shark shrugged. "You were four dollars off. You looked like you need that money for something more important." he replied.  I sighed. "I suppose." I mumbled. We walked down the sidewalk slowly, and I stopped at where my laptop should be at. "Hang on, I'll be right back." I said, and turned down the alleyway. I opened the compartment, and relaxed to see the laptop still there. I pulled it out and placed it to the side, then gathered the other things I had stashed about and put those in the bag. I slung the bag over my shoulder, then picked up the laptop and kept it close. I walked back out to see Shark leaned against the lamppost, a sneer on his face. He was talking to someone I couldn't see. I dropped everything and hid it, and peered around the corner. There stood two guys, most likely from Shark's high school. "Shove off Moose." he snarled to the one wearing a hat. "Make me." Moose growled back. The guy snickered next to him. "I think we should teach him a lesson." the smaller boy said. Moose nodded. "I agree Mango. Let's teach big boy here a lesson." he replied, and arched his arm back and punched Shark's collarbone. He cried out and stumbled a bit. That's where I stepped out. "Oi! Leave him alone, would you?" I yelled, catching Moose and Mango's attention. They raised they're eyebrows at my bandana. "What's with the bandana? You lose an eye by running into something?" Moose mocked. I growled. "Mocking people? That's low." I said, smirking. Moose's hand twitched, and I saw his blue eyes narrow. He charged me, but I had expected it, and side-stepped. He stumbled to a stop. Then my fist connected with his jaw. He yelped. Then, I heard footsteps from behind, and I felt hands wrap around the bandana. Before I knew it, the bandana was ripped off my face. I blinked multiple times, my white mechanical eyes adjusting to the sudden light. "The heck?!" Moose screamed. I narrowed my eyes. "So, do I have to say it again?" I snapped. Mango was already gone, and Moose shakily nodded and got up. "N..no." he stammered. I bent down and picked up. "I didn't lose one eye. I lost both, not because of something, but someone. Now screw off." I commented after tying the bandana over my eyes. Moose bolted, and I walked back into the alley and picked up my laptop and bag. I walked back out to see Shark staring. "I need to explain, don't I?" I asked. Shark nodded slowly. "Please?" he asked. I sighed. "While ago, my father died from unknown reasons. My mother blamed me, and began the abuse. Then, it went too far, and she stabbed both my eyes out. The neighbors found me in their yard and brought me to the hospital. There, my mother arrived. Doctor Lang asked her if it was okay to give me mechanical eyes. She said yes, and I survived the procedure. But, my mother decided to get rid of me once and for all. She came into the room when I still had bandages wrapped around my eyes. She didn't come alone, but with a man. I was able to get away, and the two got in jail. The man for thirteen years, for attempted murder, and my mother got the life sentence for attempted murder, murder, and abuse. We found out that my mother murdered my father, just for the money. For the fucking money." I growled, taking off the bandana and staring at it. Shark stared at me, his jaw slightly opened. "I.. I, uh... Damn." he managed. I began to wrap the bandana again, when Shark's hand placed on my arm, stopping me. "I think you..umm.. You look better without the bandana." he said. I turned to see him smiling nervously, his face tinted pink. "A..alright."
