School for me is a hell hole
No one knows about who I am
And frankly I don't care
My pride plummets when I walk into school
I hear people whisper
"I hear she got kicked out because Daniel got her pregnant"
"I hear she's a fag, and that's why they kicked her out"
"I thought it was because her parents walked in on her screwing Delaney"
"HER BEST FRIEND??"
A sob hitches in my throat
I leave the building, not caring who sees me
I run back to my new home
Delaney's house
I frantically search my suitcase
There it is
Rolled up in a pair of socks
I slip into the bathroom
And sink to the floor
I grasp the object in my right hand and drag it across the skin of my left arm
It leaves a trail of ruby red
The trail that will forever remind me of hell
