Birds fear diving into chaotic seas.
Humans are the same with love.
Ignorant about her own boundaries,
Lovers break away and she traps a dove
In an iron cage and fears loneliness.
Her insecurities, they trap her too.
Her dreams & love are stuck in darkness.
She knows this can't continue.
She opens the tarnished cage and he flies
Away. She cries but finds that it's not lonely.
This world is full of color if she tries
To travel and search for that sweet beauty
In the dove's wings and the meaning it brings.
Maybe in time she will find greater things.
