Odell

After the girl left this smell wouldn't leave my room. I sprayed lysol on my bed and opened up all the windows in my apartment, but the smell wouldn't go away. Issy and I cleaned till five in the damn morning trying to figure out where it was coming from. That was until I got on the floor to look under my bed to see that girl left her underwear. They must've got kicked under there by accident. I don't know how I didn't smell them before we fucked since I was the one who took them off. I gotta stop messin with these girls from the club, that's the second time that's happened.

Anyways, After airing out my place I hadn't noticed Debra texted me about some eleven AM bullshit that I gotta go to. Running on less than six hours of sleep I'm on my way up to the physical therapy and rehabilitation center every East coast sports team comes to. I'm glad my apartment is twenty minutes from the center and thirty minutes from the stadium. The times can be longer when the traffic is backed up but so far I can't complain, I like living out here. I'm a little farther from my family than I'd like but it's worth it.

My family still lives 20 hours away in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It's definitely been hard transactioning from college to pro football without them. And It's definitely not easy becoming something greater than you initially intended and not be able to celebrate share those moments with my family. I know they're watching at home and they always text or call me after a game to tell me I did a good job but it's not the same as them being by my side. All of my other teammates whole families, their wives, their girlfriends, and what not all come to our games. Mean while I have no one but drunk ass Issy and Debra's mean self. My fans are my family too but it's nothing like having you're own blood supporting you. I've been able to get over my homesickness and put my all into every game to make my family and most importantly my fans proud. Hopefully I can move my family up here before my birthday, that would mean a lot to me. I've never spent a birthday or a holiday away from home so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I pulled up to the building and hurried to the front desk so I wouldn't be late again. I'm ten minutes early since I don't need Coach putting me out over something as simple as being late. I just started on this team a month ago I don't need anything stopping me from greatness not even a bench.

"Nice to see you again." I said to the secretary as I filled out the sign in sheet.

"And the same to you." I looked at her name tag and Kristin was engraved in black on the white metal. "Don't forget signature and date. You'll be in the same room from last time."

"Thank you."

I made sure I paid attention to where I was going, I don't need to bumping into anymore people. I turned the corner to where the elevators were to hear two people arguing.

"What do you want from me?" I leaned against the wall and listened.

"I want you to stop trippin and come back home."

"Home? I only lived with you for a month before you started acting like a jackass. And why would I all of a sudden come running back to you when you keep telling everybody my business?!"

"Our business you mean." That sounds like David.

"Whatever please just stay away from me. I'm over you acting like someone you're."

I plugged my headphones in my phone and turned on some music and came sound the corner like I wasn't listening.

David had his head down and the girl he was arguing with yesterday was standing next to him looking mad as fuck. That definitely didn't sound like the same person that I bumped into yesterday. I pressed the up button on the elevator and waited. I looked over at her and put my headphones around my neck.
