Allen pov:
Cold.... it's so cold. I pried my eyes open but all I could see was blackness. I couldn't find an inch of warmth in my body, it felt like I was floating. I tried to calm down but I couldn't properly breath or even form full thoughts. Cold, dark, can't breathe, pain, Kanda. With that last thought I was able to remember what had happened. Oh well Kanda will at least be relieved that he won't have to see me again. Am I dying? Time passed by agonizingly slow as more panic crept through me every second.

Light flashed through the shadow and I blinked back tears of relief. It was still so cold but at least it was no longer dark. I breathed deeply, relieved of the suffocating shadow. I blinked once and suddenly my feet hit the ground I had opened my eyes to another bright existence. Snow? I looked around this was a familiar scene. I ran through the blank field of snow ignoring my chill. I saw something in the distance laying atop the frozen ground. As I neared it I saw splatters of blood masking the white. Recognition filled my mind as I now knew exactly where this was. That thing in the snow is me. The old me to be exact. Memories flooded my vision. After I had been abandoned by my parents I became a street rat, each day was a struggle to get by. I found a traveling circus and decided to try and steal some money from one of the performers. I had been caught red handed and the performer had dragged me out away from the camp and beat me half to death. I never forgot the feeling as my own blood melted into the snow around me or how my skin had stuck to the ice. When the performer was done with me he had taken back his belongings and my jacket, leaving me to freeze. I shivered looking at my small body strewn over the blank terrain.

My eyes closed and when they opened I was at another fateful part of my life. The day I had met Mana. He had just buried his dog that was killed by the same performer that had nearly killed me only two weeks prior. The young me was talking with Mana and broke down crying. A tear rolled down my cheek as I witnessed the exchange. The scenery changed once more and I turned away I knew what was coming next, the death of Mana Walker. I heard the pleas of my young self begging Mana to get up. Mana simply smiled like he always had and told me to keep on walking until the day I died. I couldn't stop myself from crying this time. I blinked over and over hoping the memory would fade but when it did I wished for the old one back.

This time it was a similar scene. Mana was in front of me and I reached out when it happened. A blade ran through him and he fell to my feet dead. I couldn't suppress my screams as I reached down but the scene changed. Now Mana was hanging from a bridge beaten and bloody. The next time he had been charred into nothing but ash. I watched him die over and over again as I could do nothing to stop it.

How many times I had to watch Mana die I couldn't say but I knew it was more than I could take. No one answered my cries for help but the next thing to happen was most definitely different. This time it showed me sitting as a child at Mana's grave. The millennium earl appeared and I turned Mana into an akuma. This part repeated over and over again as I destroyed Mana and got my face split open. This was all to much to bear. Looking at all of this was more painful than anything I had ever been through. My voice faded no longer able to scream. Grabbing at my head I fell to the ground as pain flooded my body. What's going on? I opened my bloodshot eyes and I found myself tied to a chair. The room was dark and musty as my eyes adjusted I realized metal bars in front of me. This was my prison cell.
