Allen pov:

After I miraculously awoke Kanda had smothered me with hugs and tears. I never thought I would see such a sensitive side to him and it really made me feel special despite the aches all over my body. Being squeezed by him was a mixture of comfort and a feeling of security and a ton of physical pain. Eventually I couldn't take it and pushed him away explaining that I couldn't breath with him crushing me. Kanda had barely said a word but now he spoke

"I'm sorry, I'm just so relieved that you're awake." He wiped at his eyes. "I thought I had lost you."

I couldn't believe this was the same Kanda I knew, unable to say anything more I gave him a gentle hug before laying back down on the ground. I'm so tired still. I thought about taking a nap when I heard a voice in my head. "Noah." with that simple word my head felt like it was exploding and my body started to seize up and I shook violently with no control. Kanda just starred at me unsure of what to do, I saw the worry in his eyes.

"Don't worry about me Kanda." I spat blood. "I'll be okay, it doesn't hurt that much." I held back my tears for his sake, I didn't want him to cry more. He clearly didn't believe a word I said and tried to hold me down so I couldn't open my wounds more. My neck jerked forward and then landed back down with a thud and I was out.

Kanda pov:

I have no idea what's going on anymore. Allen's body is thrashing around, what can I do to help him? I tried to pin his limbs down so he couldn't make his injuries worse. Next thing I knew he had accidentally knocked himself out, his body squirmed for another moment and then went still. I need to find him a doctor, we can't return to the order. I scooped him up and started to make my way through the trees heading in the direction I hoped a village was. The beansprout was unsettling light, he probably had barely eaten during captivity. Hold on Allen I'll fix you, I'll even get your arm back somehow. I suddenly realized I had left his arm in the cave with the Noah when I got captured. That was going to be a challenge to retrieve, what if they destroy it? Well right now I should focus on the immediate issue at hand.
