I lied on my bed, sending Ash the fifth text today. I’ve called him around ten times and he wouldn’t answer. It was really starting to worry me. Why isn’t he answering his phone? Maybe he....ran away? Oh god! I hope not! I covered my head with a pillow after I closed my curtains because the sun was coming out and shining through my window.
My head hurt so much. This must be what a hangover feels like.
I eventually just gave up. I guess I wouldn’t be getting a call or text from him. I was so mad right now. My head was throbbing. I think I have to stay in my room today and just sleep.
I set my phone on my nightstand and covered up in my Batman blankets. Even though I had my curtains closed it just wouldn’t get dark enough in my room! I covered my head with my pillow and my whole body was covered in blankets. Then my phone began ringing. Of course I got a text! Right when I was getting comfortable in my bed.
I took my sweet ass time sitting up and taking my phone. I looked at the screen. It was Ash so I couldn’t help but smile. Now I knew that he was okay. I opened the text. It said “dont talk 2 me”. Oh god! What happened now?
That’s when an hour of missed calls and unanswered texts took place. Apparently I really upset him with something. Maybe it was something at the party last night...I was so pissed right now. I was so mad at him. I just wanted him to talk to me. My phone rang. Maybe it was Ash calling me and he was going to explain some shit to me. I picked it up and answered it without looking to see who it was.
“Hello?” I said, hopeful.
“Hey, Andy. Crazy night last night, huh?” Dylan asked with a laugh. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
“I guess. I don’t really remember much.” I groaned.
“Whoa, man. You sound like you’ve got a wicked hang over. You were crazy last night, Andy.”
“What? What do you mean?” I asked him frantically.
“Calm down! I mean you don’t remember? Well I guess you didn’t because you were wasted.”
“So what happened last night?” I repeated. “I blacked out so I don’t remember.”
“Um...” Was all he said. I didn’t like that.
“What?” I yelled. I laid back down on my back on my bed waiting for an answer.
“I don’t think you want to know, Andy.” That just made me nervous.
“What? Do you want to come over and tell me or something?”
“No no!” he quickly assured. “I’ll tell you over the phone because I’m not sure how you’ll react. So I’ll just tell you now.” I sat up again.
“Okay!” I told him.
“Well, I don’t clearly remember what happened but this is what I do remember. We were both sitting on a couch in Lynne’s living room and everyone was around us, cheering us on and...”
“And?” Oh! The suspense!
“And....we made out in front of everyone.” My jaw dropped and I was silent. I did not believe a word he was saying. Me making out with my own best friend? Nah! That couldn’t happen! Ever. What if Ash finds out about this?
“And, uh, I think Ashley saw it. He was the one who drove us home, after all.” He added. Oh no. That explains how I got home last night, then. No wonder why Ash wouldn’t talk to me!
“Holy shit, Dylan! What have we done? Why would you even agree to do that with me? I understand peer pressure but I’m you’re best friend and you know that I have a boyfriend, Dylan!”
