Caine Affection - Chapter 13

Jake's POV

As I was coming back with my future beta, Nick , from our meeting with our future allies, Nick kept going on and on about this mysterious female wolf with snow fur and blue eyes wandering in our forest 1 week ago and that he didnt know the mysterious scent of hers and she had alot of power that I didnt really pay much attention about it since almost every 2 weeks there is a rouge wandering by and they usually get caught and punished. I mean its kinda stupid for a rouge to wander around the worlds most powerful pack's forests

As I was sitting beside the drivers seat with Nick driving a powerful pain hit me. What was that? The pain stopped and then came even more powerful that I groaned in pain. Nick somehow saw me and pulled over.

" Jake are you okay?" Nick asked

" Something is hurting me." I said grabing my chest with one hand. I thought about it for a second then it hit me.

My mother.

I got out of the car and ran to a nearby tree to strip off my clothes and shifted to my wolf. I grabed my clothes with my muzzle and ran off the the packhouse . As I was running I looked beside me and a brown wolf running beside me which was Nick.

' Dude whats wrong' he communticated

' I think its my mother' I said making Nick and I run faster

Less than 5 minutes we arrived at the pack house and Nick went to his room to change into fresh clothes since his got ripped by shifting and I hid behind a tree and changed back in my black skinny jeans and ran to the packhouse. I went to my mother's room and slammed the door open which I saw my mom in her room reading a book, I sighed in relief as I saw that she was okay

" Whats wrong hun?" my mom asked putting her book on a table.

" I thought something happened to you" I said as I pulled her into a hug. My mother was half a werewolf and half human so she couldnt really shift into a wolf which was fine with me.

" Why hun? Im fine as I can ever be with your father and sister" She smiled at me. I always had a perfect connection with my mother unlike my father.

" I jus- well never mind" I said while pulling away.

" Oh yea hun can you go check out the backyard, I have been hearing lots of noises over there" She asked

" Sure mom" as I walked out of her room and put my shirt back on since I was such in a hurry. I walked out of the packhouse and saw a grey wolf that looked like Jackie, in front of this mysterious girl that had her back facing me. Oh no is Jackie scaring pack memebers away again?

" Stop!" I commanded

Jackie whimpered and backed away in a tree to probaly shift back and when I saw the mysterious girl turn around and I saw heaven! I swear I felt my heart skip a beat and stared into those gawjuss blue eyes boring into my ocean blue eyes. I could stare at them for the rest of my life and never get tired of them. Before I could take a step close to her she fell to the ground. Skye and Brandon yelled a name that I couldnt quite understand as Everyone gasped, whoa forgot we had an audience as I ran to her but I was stopped with Jackie in front of me with a tree bark in her hand and dropped it to the ground.

" Hey babe" She purred. I dont know why but I got digusted

" Move " I growled as she whimppered and stepped to the side. I bended down to the mysterious girl and felt her pulse that gave me a little shock as I tried not to moan. Is she my......? Okay Jake right now its not the right time to think I thought to myself. I slowly carried her bridal style and yelled out

" Call the pack doctor" as everyone started running around and ran to the living room an gently placed her on a couch. I took her black hair that was on her face and gently put it behind her ear as she started grumbling, how cute.

"Shh its okay baby, its gonna be alright" I promised her. I heard footsteps behind me and saw Nick, Skye holding hands? and Brandon with them?

" Whats going on?" I asked

" Well, um Nick and I are mates" Skyr said and blushed while Nick kissed her cheek. Whoa how did his happen?

" And I am guessing Brenda is your mate?" Skye asked.

" How did you know?" I asked shocked how did she know?

" Honey I can tell when people are mates by just looking at them" Skye said

" But her scent, its familiar" Nick said.

5 minutes later the pack doctor camr and checked on "Brenda" and what she said made my heart sink.

" Shes in coma."

Mysterious Person's POV

I watched as one of the female werewolfs hit her in the head with a tree bark. I just wanted to go out there and take her and run away to get revenge to what she has done to me, but obiously that wouldnt happen since there are about 100 werewolfs and I can barely hide my scent. Sooner or later I am gonna have to start doing my plan, but first ill just let her have her freedom. I stepped away from the scene and shifted to my wolf and ran back to my pack.

She is gonna pay for what has she done.
