Facing Fear (slow updates)

The Night

When we were halfway when we decided on a motel considering we were zombies from lack sleep. We got in and I flopped on a fluffy bed. "Who's gonna sleep in the same bed?" I say seeing as there is only two beds.

 "Well you know I don't sleep well with other people in the same bed so I think you and Nico should." Monica said. 

 "Alright." I say shrugging but Nico got beat red. What was the matter with him? I brushed it of for now.

 I got under the covers and snuggled with my pillow. Am I weird? Most probably so. I slowly drifted asleep. When I woke up it wasn't my pillow I was cuddling with it was Nico. Wanting to go back to sleep I snuggled closer and my eyes got heavy. The last thing I remember is his scent like, pine and a hint of something else, mint? I smiled and fell asleep.

I woke up again when something shifted I opened my eyes to see Nico looking at me. I blushed, why am I blushing? Fuck. "Good morning..."I crooked, my vocie raspy. He's eyes closed again and his breathing steaded. I got up not waking him and walked to the bathroom I turned on the shower and stepped in. It was warm and refreshing. I started singing Fall Out Boy.

"I don't know where you going but do you have room for one more, troubled soul. I don't know where I'm going but I don't think I'm coming home." It then turned into All Time Low "Backseat serenade, little hand-granade oh god I'm sick of sleeping alone, you're salty one a summer day, kiss the pain away to your radio!" Then Awolnation "This is how show my love, I made it in my mind because, I blame it on my A.D.D. baby."

I stepped out of the shower realizing I forgot clothes, I opened the door and peeked my head out. Nico was the only one up, "Nico could you um, get me uh, some clothes..." My cheeks flushed. He nodded and gave me my cloths "Thank y-you." I closed the door and put on my Pierce the Veil shirt, blue skinny jeans and brushed my teeth and all that. I stepped out the bathroom and flopped on my bed. 

After everyone was awake I made tea. I boiled water and got black tea, poured in vanilla creamer and two teaspoons of sugar. I gave a cup to everyone and sat down. "So, where are we going to go after we hit Topeka?" Nico asked not making eye contact with me. 

"I think we should take the 4 and 1/2 hour trip to Colorado Springs." I say. They nod and we head to the car to go to Topeka.  

When we reached Topeka we came face to face with a women. She had black hair and black eyes. She had olive skin.

"Hello demigods." She said.

"Who are you?" Nico asked

"I am night, son of Hades." Nyx said. Nico kinda stepped in front of me.

"What do you want?" He asked

"Well it seems my sibling Eos is trapped and I need you to release her. She is in the Titans home of the western world. I do not know how it can be opened, but I do know you must let yourself shine in times of darkness..."
