Two day days later, I was standing at my locker getting my books, and the blue-eyed boy pops up behind my locker door.
"Hey Becky. I've seen you around school," he said.
"Who are you," I asked.
"You don't know my name yet?"
"Well, let's see. You aren't one of the annoying populars, which is surprising, so no I wouldn't know your name! Also if you haven't forgotten I've only been at the school for two days."
"Well, my name is Spencer. It's nice to finally get to meet you," he said as I finished gathering my books.
"You've had at two days to come meet me." After I said that, he stared at me for a couple of minutes. Then, he asked me how I was feeling about school so far. When I replied to him he looked into my eyes. He kept asking me questions, and some of them I didn't know the answers to, like the ones Emily asked me, so I tried to wing it.
When the bell rang, and school ended my dad and brother were in the Impala waiting for me. Spencer, after waiting for me to get my books out of my locker, walked me to the car. I caught Derek was eye-balling Spencer from the passenger's seat.
"What are you doing?" I asked Derek as I slapped him when Spencer walked away.
"What are you talking about" Derek answered with a rude tone to his voice.
"I saw you! Don't try to play dumb with me. You were looking at him like he's a freak!"
"What the HELL are you talking about?!"
"What do you mean, 'What the HELL' I was just stating the facts! I SAW YOU! He's NOT a monster!"
"God Becky! I'm just trying to protect you from the things that are out there! You don't know what's out there!"
"Well, I suppose that monsters, werewolves, vampires, and demons actually DO exist?!"
"Becky, I'm just telling you that dad and I have seen WAY more than you have."
"What are you talking about, 'More than I have'! Are you serious right now! Is this what you keep from me, when you sneak out every night?! HUH?!"
My dad interrupted with, "We just wanted you to have a normal life Beck."
"What the HELL are you saying dad?! I mean, really? Do you hear yourself right now?! Do you know what you're even saying?!" I shot back in anger.
"Beck, all that I'm saying is that there are things out there that we don't want you to know about."
"Oh my GOD dad! Are you kidding me?!" As I get out of the car, Derek starts to get out and follow me.
"Derek! STOP! NOW!" I yell as I start to sprint away from the car. As I say that, Derek stops immediately and stares at me. As I run away from the car, I can feel the eyes of someone following me down my path of rampage away from my father and my brother.
When I get down the street, Spencer runs over to me to see what's wrong. I tell him that it's nothing, but he still asks me if I want to go to his house. Of course, I say yes, and start to walk with him, thinking about what my brother might think if he saw this. I would hope he thinks, "This guy might not be so bad after all." Since he did ask me if I was alright, and invited me to his house to make sure that I actually was alright.

When we got to his house, he gets me some Dr. Pepper and Blue Bunny Moose Tracks ice cream. As he pulls these things out, I ask him, "How did you know that Dr. Pepper and Moose Tracks ice cream are my some of my FAVORITE foods?"
