Sorry about the wait, but this is a pretty long chapter so I hope it makes up for it! Though it's not edited... so I'm sorry for that. But don't forget to leave comments as your reading, I love to hear what others think of my writing plus this story is a lot different from my other one so I could use some feedback. Anyways, i hope you enjoy this chapter!

Chapter 2

'You make me smile like the sun,

Fall out of bed,

Sing like a bird dizzy in my head,

Spin like a record crazy on a Sunday night.

You make me dance like a fool,

Forget how to breath,

Shine like gold,

Buzz like a bee,

Just the thought of you can drive me wild.

You make me smile.'

Once I realized what song was playing I quickly turned it off. I will not think about Daniel. Nope, not gonna do it. He's just another boy and I’ve already got too many guy problems without his help.

Shaking the thoughts out of my head I walked into my attached bathroom and take a shower. You can only imagine how much shampoo and time it takes to wash this long of hair but I don't really care. After my shower I decided I didn't want to take the time to blow dry my hair instead I fishtail braided it, letting it hang over my left shoulder. Then I put on my makeup which consisted of; foundation, eyeliner and mascara. I didn't like to cake it on like some girls. Walking back into my room and into my walk-in closet I pull our black skinny jeans with rips up and down both legs and a black shirt with the face of a Siberian tiger on the front. The sleeves were cut off and it had spikes on the shoulders. Tigers are my favorite animal, they're so beautiful and fierce. Kinda like me?

My phone buzzed in my pocket as I was putting on my black combat boots. It was a text from Nick.

Nick: 'Hey babe! You wanna go to the races with me tonight?'

Me: '1) don't ever call me babe again or you'll regret it and 2) I’m already going because I’m in the race so why should I go with you?'

Nick: 'Please Zoe! Just give me a chance. I’m sorry I called you babe, that was out of line and it wont happen again I promise.'

I didn't even reply, just let out a curse and stomped angrily down the stairs and into the kitchen.

“Damn it! Why can't he just leave me alone? Is it too much to ask for him to just find another girl? It shouldn't be too hard for him to get another girl for crying out loud! There is no reason why he needs me. I’m nothing special and if he doesn't know that by now then he's stupider then I thought.” I continued to grumble.

“Seriously? That last part was totally not true.” Alex said disapprovingly behind me, catching me off guard.

“I'm not in the mood this morning Al, so just leave me to my ranting will you?” This time I caught her off guard. I never talked to her like this unless I was really angry which today I was. And to think I woke up in a good mood but Nick just had to ruin it didn't he? Suddenly the glass in my hand broke, spilling orange juice all of the counter and up my arm. Good thing my shirt was sleeveless.

“What's wrong Zoe?” She asked while taking the broken glass out of my hand. The shards had cut open my palm a bit but it wasn't too bad. I’ve had much worse. But Alex still gave me a worried look as she grabbed the first aid kit from under the sink, we kept one in most of the rooms because I tend to hurt myself a lot.
