It was a dark, stormy night. The skies above were singing a song that only the truly unfortunate could understand.
It was Wednesday.
The dark man was standing in front of his first love's house.
Truly, everything about the situation he had found himself in was not what he expected. He only wished the thoughts and pictures in his deranged head would go away.
When Georgia Hale exited her home, her curled brunette hair was tied up in a rough bun fastened by a hairclip. Her wide blue eyes widened when she looked over at him standing there, fidgeting with his hands.
Did he want to do this? No.
But it only seemed fitting. Breaking apart the first woman who ever broke him.
Seeing him her eyes widened and she took a step back from shock.
She muttered his name so soft that if he wasn't standing so close to the porch, he wouldn't have heard it. The shock in her blue eyes almost made him turn around and go back home.
But, he knew that he couldn't. Doing that would mean that the dreams came. He couldn't do that to himself.
"Georgia. It's good to see you again." He said to her in a casual tone.
"What are you doing here?" she asked him with a curious glint in her eyes.
"Georgie..." He began and suddenly he felt a tear go down his cheek. "Georgie I'm so sorry. I just want it to stop. I can't do this anymore. The nightmares won't leave. It haunts me and it doesn't stop."
Her face suddenly went white. She took a step back and before she could run inside the house he ran forward and grabbed her arm.
The shock in her eyes when he drove the knife in her soft stomach was so rattling that he couldn't focus on why he was there.
He drove the knife in deeper and when the light slowly drowned from her eyes, he remembered why he came.
And why he was going to keep coming.
