Your POV
I sat on the couch flipping through my favourite book, "Saint Anything" the sound of rain drops hitting the roof continued as I read. About ten minutes into the book I felt the couch dip beside me. I looked up from my book to find Shawn smiling down at me.

"What?" I laughed as he had a huge grin.
"We should go dance in the rain!" He yelled jumping for extra enthusiasm.
"Why? I'm reading." I whined.

He smirked taking ahold of my book and running into the bedroom putting it on the bed.
"Good now that you're done reading let's go!" He grabbed my hand dragging me out the door.

It was the middle of the summer the rain was refreshing with how hot it was outside. 

We ran around the back yard in my black tank top and spandex. Shawn couldn't stop laughing as he ran around getting soaked.

I couldn't help but smile at my amazing boyfriend. He stopped what he was doing and walked over to me placing his hands on either side of my face.

"You're so beautiful." He whispered leaning his forehead against mine.

"And you're very handsome." I winked.

He laughed and leaned into kiss me. But I had other plans so I turned my head so he'd kiss my cheek instead. He groaned and let go of me which allowed me to run away from him.

"Oh that's it!" He yelled coming after me making me giggle as I continued to laugh.

He chased me for a good five minutes before finally catching me and pressing his lips to mine.

"I love you." He smiled.

"I love you too." I pecked his lips.

I was broken before I met Shawn but he fixed me and brought back all the pieces as if I never was broken.
And that's how I knew I was loved.
