I pull my cell phone out from my pocket.
I breathe deeply, will she respond?
Whatever it's worth a try.
Slowly I dial Aly's number.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
No answer.
I try again this time on mobile.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
"Hello?" Her voice says through her mobile phone.
"Hi!" I respond relieved.
"Hey, how are you? You haven't called me in a while, ever since I became a tester for the new underground city." She says surprised.
"I have something to tell you" I whisper.
"What?" She asks.
"I can't tell you on the phone. Come back to the land."
