Chapter 6: The Dress

"S-sean?" I ask stuttering

"Yeah... why? Do you know him?" Alex asks me with curiosity

"We have to get out of here... NOW" I say slightly panicking

"What you didn't even get to try al-" I cut Alex in the middle of her sentence by dragging her quickly grabbing her outside of that dressing room

As soon as I got out of the dressing room, I quickly take another glance towards Sean to see him and his "girlfriend" fighting over something, I couldn't help but slightly chuckle at him since it was so obvious that he didn't care about anything his she was saying. Of course me, having the worst case of bad luck, he heard me and we soon made eye contact... AGAIN. I quickly pull Alex towards the exit to make a run for it.

"Wait" Alex says while stopping us in our tracks

"What now Alex, can't you see I'm kinda in a hurry" I say trying not to be rude

"Sum and Abi are still in there..." she said pointing towards the other side of the store

"And plus you're still wearing that dress, don't wanna get caught shoplifting eh?" She says while looking at me up and down

"Shoot..." I mumble to myself

"We have no choice but to go back there to get your clothes..." Alex says slowly cracking a smile... no, more of a smirk

"Fine fine, but let's hurry up please" I say while fast walking towards the rooms

I hurry into the room where I was earlier and guess what... the stall was freaking empty! I looked everywhere, on the seat, under the seat, on the hanging area but still no signs of clothes. I get out to tell Alex what's happening right now and guess what again... she wasn't there! I pace back and forth repeatedly, I literally didn't know what to do, I tried looking for Sum and Abi but they we're nowhere to be found, at this point I just wanted to cry, I was too stressed with everything that's happening! Right now I have no other option but to ring auntie Nalyn, I hate to disturb her while she's working but I have no other option. My phone was in my ear while I continued to search for my so called "friends", that I wasn't even looking at where I'm going making me bump into someone making me fall to the ground.

"Seriously!?" I accidentally exclaim

"I'm so sorry, here let me help you up" this boy offered me a hand, and I gladly took it

"I'm so so sorry, I wasn't loo-" I cut him off midway

"It's fine I wasn't looking too" I say not paying any attention to him

"Umm... are you looking for someone...?" He asks me

I quickly face towards him to answer his question but as soon as I look at him I instantly regret it. Sean Lew.

"Umm..." I panicked that I couldn't even say a word

"Are you okay?" He asks while waving a hand in front of my face

"Oh... umm... yeah" great going Nadia, great going

"I was asking if you were looking for someone, maybe I could help" he says offering me some help

"Oh.. yeah, I'm looking for the girl who was with me a while ago in the dressing room, she kinda pulled a prank on me by hiding my clothes leaving me with this dress that I just tried on" I say explaining to him on what's happening

"Oh is that the case..." he says trying to think of something to do

"Not to sound weird or anything but could you turn around..." he asks

"Umm... yeah sure" I say while slowly turning my back at him

As I turned my back at him, he moves my hair to the side to check the tag of the dress that I'm wearing

"Oh good price, good price..." he says while I face towards him again

"Here let me pay for the dress...it's the least I can do for bumping into you" he says as he reaches in his pocket to grab some money

"No you don't have to! I can just wait for my auntie" I say declining his money

"C'mmon, do you wanna get out of here or nah?" He asks me with a smirk since he knows that I don't have any other option

"Okay fine, but I promise you I'll pay you back when I see you again, promise" I say feeling a little bit guilty for taking his money... hey I didn't have any choice!

"You really don't ha-" he was cut off by a high pitched voice that literally sounded like a mouse being tortured to death

"Sean-y look at this..." the voice was getting louder which means she's getting closer

"Here, take it, and by the way you look really pretty in that dress it suits you..."he says as he hands me his money while quickly jogging towards the opposite direction.

I couldn't help but blush at his comment, I don't know why but it kinda made my heart flutter. I went up to the cashier and paid for the dress. As soon as I was done, I still kept searching for Sum, Abi and Alex cause' they still have my stuff. I kept searching for them, after 9383893 years, I finally see them hiding behind a food stall.

"Hey... Nadia, here's your clothes" Sum says trying not to burst out laughing

"Too late for that now..." I say while smiling to myself like an idiot because of what happened earlier

"Ooh! Someone got bitten by the lovebug..." Alex excitedly exclaims

"Don't worry I'll tell you all about it..." I say while smiling to myself again

This is gonna take a while
