*three days after the last chapter*
Kaz's POV
It been almost four days since I kissed Oliver and it's getting harder to hide how I feel about my best friend. Every time I go near Oliver I'm a little bit too obvious, like how I stare at him and how I move closer to him every time I get the chance, I think he's starting to notice. I'm Oliver's best friend, I can't believe I'm having all these thoughts about him. So after I fixed my hair I went over to Oliver who was sitting in the lunchroom.
"Hey dude." I say as I walk up and slightly punch his arm.
"Hey Kaz." He responds.
"Umm do want to stay over at my house tonight?" I ask him when I sit down.
"Really, with your big family?" He asks.
"Don't worry about that, they're all on vacation until next week." I tell him.
"Oh," he starts "then I guess I'll meet you at your house at, say around five?" He asks.
"Sure that works." I tell him.
"Well I gotta go,"I say "class starts in five minutes and I need to be early." I say as I walk away and Oliver waves as I leave.
Oliver's POV
"Well I gotta go,"Kaz tells me "class starts in five minutes and I need to be early." He says as he walks away and I wave as he leaves. Honestly I'm a little hesitant to stay over at Kaz's place tonight, after that kiss in Mighty Med he's has been acting really weird around me. As the rest of the day drags on and I keep trying to move my mind to something else but all I can think about is the feeling of Kaz's soft, warm lips on mine. You know what I think I'm excited to go to Kaz's later now that I think about it.
*Five o'clock*
I arrive at Kaz's house and I knocked on the door and he answers it with no shirt on, 'oh god look at his abs' is all I could think the entire time he was standing there.
"Hey Oliver, come on in." He says before he grabs my arm and pulls me in.
"Hey Kaz, where's your shirt?" I ask him, slightly blushing because I just asked him that question.
"Oh," he says looking down "yeah I was changing when you knocked on the door." He said.
"Hey let's go up to my room and play some video games." He said.
"Yeah let's go." I say as we start walking up the stairs. When got to his room he finished changing before we played video games. The entire time he was standing there changing his shirt and pants I stared and he didn't seem to mind because when he noticed me he staring he just started changing slower.
"Okay let's start this thing." I say grabbing the game controller when he was done changing.
"Lets do this." He says grabbing the other controller. After about three hours of playing games and talking I started to get bored.
"What else should we do?" I ask.
"I don't know." He responds.
"Want to watch a movie?" I ask.
"Sure that sounds fine." He says. After we pick the movie we both lay down on his bed, after about twenty minutes I fall asleep.
Kaz's POV
About twenty minutes into the movie Oliver falls asleep 'God he's so cute while he sleeps.' Is the thought that kept coming back to my mind every time I look at him.
*after the movie*
"Oliver wake up." I say as I push him a little.
"Mmmm." Oliver groaned.
"Oliver you have to get out of my bed." I say to him.
"No it's so comfy." Oliver protests, if he won't get out of my bed then I'll just take him out of my bed.
"Kaz what are you doing?" Oliver asks me as I pick him up bridal style.
"Moving you." I say as I carry him over to the couch in my room and lay him down, god he's so handsome.
"Fine by me." He tells me.
"Go back to bed." I tell him before I take my shirt off and lay down in my bed.
"Fine." He says, making a pouty face before taking his shirt off too.
"Goodnight Oliver." I say to him.
"Goodnight Kaz." He replies.
Oliver's POV
I wake up and I'm laying down on the couch in Kaz's room, I look over to Kaz and he's rolling around a lot on his bed and whimpering. I walk over and shake him awake.
"Kaz what's wrong?" I ask him once he wakes up.
"I was having a nightmare." He tells me. He sits up and he's so scared he's shivering and he's still crying, I sit down next to him.
"Shh, it's okay Kaz." I tell him as I start rubbing his back.
"Will you stay with me?" He asks, once he was calmed down a little bit.
"Of course I will." I say to him. We lay down in his bed and turns to looks at me.
"Thank you Oliver." he says, tears still running down his face.
"Your welcome Kaz." I say as I start to wipe the tears off his cheeks with my thumb, our faces only inches apart, I look into his eyes and start to run my hands through his hair.
"That's it! I can't take this anymore!" I whisper-shout, he looks at me with confusion in his eyes for a second before I lean in.....
