The first chapter
Squueeeeee
Yep. I squee.

"Oooooooooh God, what am I going to do??  What am I going to do???? "Lincoln asked himself, pacing around his room. " Think Lincoln, think. "

" Everyone, meet me in the living room! I have a new invention that I want to show you!!! " Lisa called from her room. Everyone walked slowly downstairs and sat on the couch waiting for Lisa to show us her new invention.

After being shown......

" Wow, that's really impressive  Lisa! How long did it take you to make? " Lori asked.
" About a week or so. I'm going to enter it in the science fair. If I win, I'll be known as the best scientist kid in town. Now, nobody is to touch my project, OK? Lisa asked. We all agreed. As we went back to our rooms.

I went back to my pacing. "Lincoln, think. You can think of something. When have you never thought of something??"  I asked myself.

I should probably tell you my problem first. My class was assigned a science project which was due on Monday and today is on Sunday. I don't know what to do!!

Hey, I got an idea!  Maybe I could just get Lisa's project, take it to school, bring it back in the evening and it would be like nothing happened. So I did just that. But it didn't go as planned......

I woke up the last one. I knew if I woke up late, I would find Lisa had already gone to school and had left her project. I ran to her room and got it. I prepared myself and ran to school.

As I knew, my project was the best in the whole class. The teacher, Miss Johnson, congratulated me and gave me an A+!!!  Soon it was time for lunch. When all the problems started.

I was wheeling the project to the janitors closet to hide it then. On my way there, Lisa appeared at the door and she did not look happy.

"LINCOLN!! YOU INTRUDIOUS, THIEVING, PIG! GIVE ME MY PROJECT RIGHT NOW OR YOU WILL PAY!! "She shouted at me once she saw her project. I started running to the janitors closet as fast as I could but she was right on my trail still yelling. " IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO THAT PROJECT, I WILL FINISH YOU!I WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE!!! "

Before I could make it to the closet, I tripped on a loose tile and fell face first on the floor, pulling the project down with me. CRRRRAAASSSSSHHH!!!

Lisa just stood there, her mouth wide open and her fists clenched. I wondered what she was thinking. How to finish me or how to fix her project. I felt so bad, I hadn't wanted her project to be ruined. She turned on her heel and walked away. Then,  to make things worse, people started saying things like "not cool man"  "that is just plain mean"   "way harsh dude. " I felt terrible for the rest of the day. Not even Clyde could cheer me up. When I reached home, everyone was huddled around Lisa who was crying silently. They were all trying to comfort her. Wow. This was the first time I had seen Lisa cry. They all glared at me when I entered. None of them talked to me. Silent treatment. Now felt like crying. But I am a man and men don't cry. They face their problems. So I searched up the date to the science fair. It was on Friday. At least I had three days. It was time to............ Smart up!!!

I  found the blueprint for her project in the trash. I studied it all of Monday night. On Tuesday, I started rebuilding it. On Wednesday, I rebuilt it. On Thursday I made sure it worked like Lisa had shown us. It did!!!!  On Friday, I left it outside Lisa's room with a note that read:
Dear Lisa,
I am so sorry I ruined your project. I rebuilt it though. Good luck in the science fair. I'm sure you'll win.

... Lincoln...

Later that day.....................

"Eeeeeeee, yes yes, yes!!!  I won!!! I won the fair!!!! "Lisa shouted, screaming and squealing all over the house. Everyone congratulated her and she thanked them. Then Lori asked    "But Lisa, I thought Lincoln ruined your project."  Then Lisa told her how I had fixed it. They all forgave me. And everything went back to normal.
