Chapter 21

I feel something wet on my snout and something damped against my fur. I slowly opened my eyes, it's raining outside of the den. I turned and saw a wet AshClaw snuggling next to me. I smiled at him and licked his forehead. I sat up and looked outside and back into the den with all the warriors sleeping peacefully. "HollyMist, why are you up so early?" I suddenly hear AshClaw say as he slowly opens his eyes. I turn my head to look at him, "I can't sleep that all, just go to sleep" I say to him gently. He gets up and says "well do you want to go for a walk so you can sleep easier?" I smile at him and nod. I get up and walk next to him.  I snuggle close to him and we walk near the pond and I get a sneaky idea to mess with him. I walk away from him and walk into the pond and smirk. "HollyMist what are you doing?" AshClaw says with a smirk. I laugh and look at him, "I think you know" I say as I splash water at him and run. I look behind me and he's not behind me? I stop and look around but I don't see him. "AshClaw?" I say in confusion but thinking about it he's probably sneaking to get me. I walk back to the pond to sit down and she looks into the pond waiting for a reflection of AshClaw. I felt something shove me to the ground from my side and I got pinned. "Ok you got me" I laughed looking at AshClaw. "You didn't see me coming did you" he laughed. I shook my head and licked his chin as he purred. "I love you AshClaw" I purred and he lays on top of me. "I love you too HollyMist" he says and licks my chest fur.
