Chapter 18

It was Friday afternoon, I was at the SM building working on a new song. My phone rang for the 10th time, I knew who it was. I didn't even look at it and continued working. It rang a few more time until I heard Onew say from the back " Aren't you going to answer that" I turned around " Nope". " Who is it?" He asked " Lilly" I answered. " Then why aren't you answering her?" He questioned "Well a lot going on" I said. Onew pulled a chair next to me " I have time " he smiled. I went onto tell him everything that had happened and how I felt about it. He didn't say anything for a minute or two then he finally spoke " I get what your saying, she got hurt bad because of you the first time and you don't want to hurt her again but you can't hide from her forever" I agreed with what he said. " But I don't know what to tell her " I said " I should walk away for good?" I asked. " I can't tell you what to do" Onew said " In things like this you shouldn't let others make the choice for you" he said. " And I think you should answer her calls" he said while getting up. I was left alone with my phone ringing. I had made the choice to stay away from her and not stand in the way of her happiness.
Lilly was no where to be found. I asked TOP if he had seen her as I walked past him " No" he yelled as he walked off. GD's voice stopped me " Still looking for her?" He asked. " Yes" I looked around " Try calling her" he said " I did, not answering" I told him. " Let me try " he pulled out his phone from his back pocket and ringed her " It said its busy" GD said after letting the phone ring for a minute and half. "Don't worry, she probably left
her phone somewhere" He added. " Yea" I said as I walked off.  I was going down stairs, she was coming upstairs " Where have you been?" I asked while taking her into my arms. " I was with Hayi" I pointed at one floor down. " Where's your phone" I asked her " It died so I left it on the charger" I said " Anyways did you need something" she asked. " No, I just wanted to see you" I said to Lilly " It's one of my makeup's artist birthday is this weekend , he's really a good guy and sweet I was hoping to throw him a party " I added " Yea that be a nice thing to do" she said with a smile. " Can we do it at your place? I asked not sure if she would say yes. " Yea and I can cook if you want" she looked happy at the idea. " That be great. I spent all my break looking for you , I have to run now" I said as I kissed her forehead. " I'll see you later then" she waved bye.
  I rang Jonghyun again and what a shock he didn't answer.  I called Eva to invite her to the party. " Hey Lilly" She answered the phone. " Why do you sound so happy?" I asked. " I got a good news for you" she yelled with happiness. "
Come on tell me than" I said. " I'm opening a restaurant" she yelled I couldn't see her but I was willing to bet my life on that fact that she was jumping up and down while telling me. " Oh my god I'm so fucking proud of you. Is it American or Korean?" I asked. " Korean" she told me. " Awesome , I can't wait . So happy for you Eva I wish I could hug you right now" I said " I wanna hug you too" she laughed a bit. " Oh yea I called to say I'm having a party at my place for Serungris friend can you come and bring the boys with you?" I said. " Yea sure " she answered. " I'll see you tomorrow night then. I have to go but I'm happy for you ,love you" I said " Love you too" she replied and hang up.
The night of the party
People had come and Seungri was out in the living room taking care of everyone. Everyone was dressed in suits and dress, while I was in sweatpants and a white t-shirt in the kitchen cooking. It was messing and I hated it. I don't know why I said I would cook. "I need some help, I can't do this alone" I whispered to myself as my hair fell on my face and I moved them back. Seungri ran in " Where are the beers" he asked. " There" I pointed to his left , he took some out. "Need help?" He came back. " I got it, you go hangout with your friends " I smiled. " Sure?" He asked. " Yea" I smiled at him and he left. After a bit I felt someone's arms around me " Lilly" Eva said. " Hey, you look beautiful, red is your color " I said to my best friend. " And that dress I want it" I said. " Minho got it for me" she smiled while looking down at her dress. " I got you one too" Minho handed me a bag. " My hands are messy can you put it on the table" I pointed at the table in the middle of the kitchen. After a bit Onew, Key, and Taemin come in to say hi. I looked around to see if he was here but he was no where to be seen. " He's parking the car" Onew whispered to me and my smiled said " Thank you " to him. " You guys go have fun" I said.  " We'll help you" Minho said. " I got this " I told him to go. As everyone went out I went back to working. " Hey" I finally heard a voice I was waiting to hear. As I turned around " I brought a plus one " Jonghyun said while looking at the girl next to him. I knew her, she was the girl from my birthday party and his bosses daughter.She was wearing a short yellow dress. " Hey guy" I smiled. " I didn't catch your name" I said to the girl " I'm lee Jihye"she said. " What a beautiful name" I smiled. " Love the dress" I said " Thank you" she replied and Jonghyun looked down and laughed to himself. "Everyone's...well everywhere" I looked out the kitchen . The two left.I was upset and mad. "It's just a guy, it's just a guy, it's just a guy. Lilly It's just a guy"
I repeated in my head. My hair was in my face again , I threw my head back to get my hair out of my eyes. I couldn't find a hair tie. I had cut my hair up to my shoulders but they were still annoying and I was getting mad. Few seconds later my hair were in my eyes but before I could react someone tied them up " Better?" Jonghyun asked. " Yes, thank you" I said. " Need some help?" He looked around me. " No I got it" I said. " You sure cause it looks like your over your head here" he said while picking up the salad bowl and placing it on the table. " I'm sure go have fun" I said. " Ok" he answered but didn't leave. " So what do I do?" He stood in my way. I looked at him he's not going to leave I thought " Watch the chicken and make sure it doesn't burn and also keep an eye on the rice and beaf" I said . " Got it" he answered. I cleaned up a bit so I could see what I was doing " Why you lie?" He asked. " Lied?" I didn't know what he was talking about. " You hated jihye's dress" he looked up at me " I didn't lie " I lied. " Yes you did, you think yellow is an ugly color and you think her dress is too short" he kept his eyes on me. I just smiled because he was right. " I like your haircut" he added." I didn't think short hair would look good on me" I told him " It looks good" he said.  After the food was done he helped me place everything on the table. I took a look around in the kitchen to make sure everything was out and he followed me. " Why don't you get dressed "
He said looking at me. " I don't know what to wear " I said to him. " You look good in any.... Wear anything" he said. " I have two dresses that everyone have seen , I can't believe I only have two dresses" I said. " Why don't you wear the dress Minho got " Jonghyun handed me a bag.
Jonghyun 's POV
  I was talking to Taemin about a song when I got a text " Can you come to me room please". "
yea" I text Lilly and walked up to her room. " Can I come in" I said. " Yea" she said I opened the door to find her standing there in a maxi long sleeve red dress. She's beautiful I thought. " It's too much" she said looking down at herself. " No" I said. " What no?" She asked. " No" I didn't know what I was saying. I just wanted to throw her on that bed. " I can wear my black or the blue one from my broth day party" she said. " No keep the red one on" my eyes were locked on her. " You think it looks nice?" She asked. " Yes" I said. " You should do a messy bun , it'll look nice" I said. " Thanks, you can go now" she smiled. I walked down. " That hell did I just do. I need to stay the fuck away from her. After a bit she come down and stood next to Seungri. Seungri was holding her hand. After the cake was cut and everyone wished Seungris friend a happy birthday I saw Seungri take Lilly's hand and take her to her room. As I took few steps to follow them someone pulled my hand " It's better if you don't" Onew said. " I wasn't going to.." I stopped. " I know , she'll be fine" he said. I stood by the stairs looking up at the closed door. " Go up" my heart kept saying. But my mind said " Don't you dare" . Finally the stupid door phoned and I acted as in I was on the phone. Seungri come out alone, he looked happy and was all smiley. As he walked pass me I was still waiting for her to come out. Few minutes later she come out and walked right pass me next to him. " You okay?" Onew asked. " I'm fine" I said upset . I was mad and I hated everyone in the room. But I don't hate her I'm just so fucking god why. I thought. My eyes stopped upon a short yellow dress. I walked up to Jihye took her hand and said " come with me" I walked up to Lilly's room.
Lilly's POV.
" Shit" I whispered " What's up?" Seungri asked. " I think I left my phone in the room" I said. " I'll be right back" I said to Seungri . I walked up to my room and opened the door. I took two steps in and stopped. Jonghyun was on top of her. I looked down " Sorry" I said. " I'm sorry I didn't know " I added. They were fully dressed but I felt like I jut saw them naked. Jihye walked out the room with a smirk on her face. I stood there looking at my feet. Jonghyun stood in front of me. " My phone" I said slowly. He walked to my phone. My head was down I didn't want to look up because of I looked at him I would end up crying. I put my hand out as he walked to me. " Lilly" he said but I walked out. I went and stood next to GD. He was standing alone in the kitchen on the phone. He looked at me and mouthed " one minute". He hang up the phone " what's the matter" he asked. I took his hand and stood there looking at the floor. " Hey tell me what's wrong?" He asked. " Just hold me" I said and he the very second took me in his arms. " Was it Seungri? Because I can kick his ass the now if you want" he said while resting his chin on my head. I didn't say anything I just hugged him. " Tell me who was it?" He ask again. " Me" I said. " What?" He asked. " I'm what's wrong with me" I said. He pulled away " Ok first of all you can never be the bad one. And second tell me what's really wrong here" he said. " It hurts " I pointed at my heart. " Why does it hurt?" He asked. " Because it can't have what t wants"
I said. " Tell me what it wants and I'll get it" he smiled at me. I smiled and hugged him. " I wish forget" I said " What made you say that?" He asked. " Because I fell in love with the wrong guy , he's not mine and before that I was in love with Serungri and now" I said. " And now what?" He asked. " And now I keep wanting someone else" I said. " Who?" He asked. " Jonghyun" I whispered to GD.
