Secret Pregnancy

Waking up early I'd asked Marilyn to pick me up earlier so we could get out before anyone had got up. I got dressed excited for the day then I had a banana for breakfast before leaving with my school bag and my travel bag. I'd only packed a few sets of clothes although I was going to have to go home for more before we went to Scotland. I slung my travel bag into the back of the Jeep then after a stop at the shop for gum and stuff for lunch as mum (being the paranoid bitch she is) made our lunch so it was healthy. We got to school on time and as we were laughing at Jordan getting into awkward situations with the year 10's, Mrs Jester marched down the yard shouting, "Miss McMatthews, your mother called asking us to keep you and Mr Warner apart."

Marilyn walked off looking around like a lost puppy, he always hung round with us. I chose to take Beth with me to hang about then Jordan got Marilyn back to the group he belongs before Leona got her false nails on him. I texted him most the time at school because we both knew we wouldn't have to put up with it once we got the results.

At lunch Jordan came up to me and took me away to the toilets, once in there she went through her bag and pulled out 3 pee tests. 

"What? No way!" I insisted.

"Kate you never know." Jodie demanded.

"Fine." I grabbed the set of them. I took one, peed and it was positive. Shaking, I took the second one, negative. I took a deep inhale and exhaled slowly then peed once more and it was positive.

Hypoventilating I showed the three tests to Jodie, she was shocked too but not as faint-panicking-about-telling-mum-dad-Marilyn-the-world-and-everyone-on-it. Yes, I fainted, and I woke up in hospital with nurses and doctors surrounding me and, unfortunately, mum was too. 

"What are you doing here?" I sneered. Why would she want to see her slutty daughter?

"I was worried." She stroked my hand, I pulled it away quickly.

"Why would you want to see your slut of a daughter?" I demanded.

"I'm sorry Kate. I care about you." Mum apologized.

"No you don't though! You're happy for me to live with dad." I told her.

"I'm happy for you to live with your dad?" Mum asked.

"Yeah. Marilyn and I are leaving to travel with dad." I told her.

"No! Kate don't! Please!" Mum begged grabbing my arm hard.

I pulled my arm away while getting up. "Too late mum, you abandoned me when I needed you. I'm your disappointment daughter and I'm not going to sit about and let you rule my life." I got up then pulled on my jeans (those hospital gown things are awkward). I then took my clothes into the bathroom and got dressed. I signed out of hospital then called Marilyn to pick me up as the school day was over. He picked me up at the nearby bus stop and we went to his house.
