"Who dropped you off?" Jasmine asked me from the top of the stairs. Jasmine was my little sister who was the one my mother was proud to have as a daughter, her blonde hair flowed down her back and she wore mascara and lipgloss.

"Marilyn." I told her dropping my bag at the door.

"Who's she?"

"He is a friend. A new kid who's gonna pick me up once I've got changed."

"Who's this?" Mum came in from the kitchen dusting her hands off probably from flour where she's been making bread.

"Marilyn." Jasmine told her smirking, "Kates boyfriend."

"Marilyn is not my boyfriend." If only.

"Well give me his parents number." Mum held out her hand for my phone.

"Oh come on mum. Me, Beth and him are only going to the skate park. It's not like I'm going to his is it?" I told her holding out my arms.

"I've heard of him and so that is a threat. He was at the office about disrespecting religions or something. Now give me his parents number or I'll get it off him myself." Mum works in the registry office at Harwood C.E. High School (A.K.A. Christian School).

"Oh come on they were disrespecting his religion like you do mine. Satanist is a religion and should be treated with the Katee respect as Christian." I insisted.

"Well I don't like it. Now I'll give you one last chance or I'm asking him myself."

"I'd give it you if I had it now I gotta get changed." I ran upstairs passing Jasmine as I went.

I got changed into black, high waist jeans and a tiger cropped top along with my converse. Once I'd put on my mascara, black eyeliner and darker tinted lipgloss, the doorbell rang and I dashed downstairs just beating my mum to the door where I rushed Marilyn down the two steps and into his black jeep shouting, "Go go go!" As my mum dashed down the steps towards the car. "Bye mum love you loads!" I laughed while Marilyn drove away. I sat back in the soft leather seats and told him where to go for Beths house. We arrived at Beths house with Beth coming out right on time. Beth sat in the back of the car peering over my shoulder looking at the music choices. It ended up being Motionless In White for the choice. I mouthed along the words to Imaculate Misconception while we drove to carpark near the skatepark which was right next to the beach with the sun falling behind the sea. We got out the car and split the pay for the car park before going to the skate park. As we were walking Marilyn had to go back to the car to get something that turned out to be a skateboard which he was really good on!

Beth and I cheered on Marilyn as he shot up the ramps and did tricks really well. Until Marilyn got off the skateboard and told me to have a go. Marilyn held my hands as I got a balance on his skateboard. I thought I was doing well until I got cocky, jumped on the board then the board slipped throwing me forward at Marilyn landing on the floor ontop of him. At that brilliant moment (sarcasm I hope you think but it's not really) my mother marched up to us shouting at me.

"Brian Warner can I please have your parents phone number just for my daughters safety?" Mum asked Marilyn with me sprawled out ontop of him.

"Sure um..." He looked at me enjoying the scent of his Lynx. I noticed him staring at me so I got up quickly. Marilyn sat up and pulled out his phone then told her his house number.

"Thankyou Mr Warner. Come on Kate." She told me before walking back to the car expecting me to follow to give me an ear full on the way home. I stayed exactly where I was. "Kate come on we gotta go." She held out her arms wide.

"No mum. You wine at me for not having a good social life and when you do you take me away or embarrass me. I'm staying here." I put my foot down.

"Fine." She told me before turning away and storming off back to her car.

"Well I'll expect the door locked when I get back then." I shrugged remembering last time when she locked me out forcing me to climb through the window but I'd grown since then to fit through the window.

"Come to mine if you want." Marilyn shrugged. "I've got a hell of a load of GTA and CoD games to get through if your any good."

"Okay." I smiled although in my mind I was freaking out about staying the night at his house. "I gotta tell you I've never been on an Xbox or Playstation before though." It's pathetic. I know, but I've grown up with my mum not letting me even get a Barbie Doll because they're making kids believe that's what they strive to look like, never mind an Xbox.

"By tomorrow you'll be an elite champion." Marilyn laughed. I smiled then Marilyn skated off on the ramps until some idiot decided to push him off the - as Marilyn calls it - the grind bar. "What the hell?" Marilyn asked James when he got up.

James was stood proudly on his mini scooter looking stupid.

"Sorry didn't see you there." James sneered.Rage ran through my veins forcing me to go straight up to James, trust me, it wasn't my fault my fist accidentally collided with his jaw. James stood in total shock clutching his jaw, "Bitch. That bitch punched me!" He whined checking his hand for blood.

"Jocks. Pfft. Pathetic. Lets go." I smirked at James then walked away with Marilyn.

"You didn't need to you know." Marilyn smiled.

"Trust me," I put my hand on his shoulder, "I've been wanting to do that since I came to high school."

After that Beth, Marilyn and I went for a burger, Beth couldn't get over how I punched James giving me a rerun of the incident. As we went for a burger Marilyn sung loudly Devils Night by Motionless In White.

"You look drunk." I stated as Marilyn ran down the street singing and dancing.

"Is that an idea?" Marilyn asked raising an eyebrow.

"No. No!" Beth insisted. She couldn't insist once a sip of WKD Blue passed her lips. We lay on the grass together until Beth threw up not being able to handle the alcohol and so we took her to her house leaning her against the door then left after calling ringing the doorbell to go to Marilyns house for the games marathon except...
