Chapter 20

                         -after performance-
Ella's pov
"Hi!" I say to the last fan. She smile really big. "Hi!!" She says. We take a picture and she leaves.

"That was the last one." London tells us. "Awesome, let's go find Emma." Ally says. "Oh come on let's have a date night." Max says to her.

He takes her hand. "Aww." I say. "But what about me and Ella?" Harvey asks. "You guys figure it out. Bye!" Ally tells us.

Me and Harvey look at each other. For some weird reason I feel my cheeks get a little hot. Harvey's cheeks turn a little pink.

"What day is it?" I ask to break the silence. "The 7th." He tells me. "Omg hair spray live is on tonight!" I accidentally yell.

"Let's go back to the hotel and watch it." Harvey says. "Let's go!!" I say. I take his hand and I run out.

We get back to the hotel. "Hurry to our room!" I say. We run to our room. "NBC!!" I shout to him. (That is the real thing btw!)

"Ok calm down." He tells me. "I'm going to take my contacts out." I tell him. "Ok it starts in 5 minutes so hurry." He tells me. I nod my head and run to the bath room.

I take my contacts out and run back out. "Hurry it's starting!" Harvey tells me. I jump on the bed.

"You can't stop an avalanche as it races down the hilll!" I shout to the music. "You can try to stop the seasons!" Harvey shouts. "Girl but you know you never will!" We both shout.

"And you can try to stop my dancing feet. But I just cannot stand still!" We shout.

"'Cause the world keeps singing 'round and 'round! And my hears keeping time to the speed of the sound." We shout. I get up and start dancing. Harvey follows me. 

"I was lost 'till I heard the drums and I found my way. 'Cause you can't stop the beat." We sing. "Ever since this whole world began. A woman found out if she shook it she could shake up a man."

"And so I'm gonna shake and shimmy it the best that I can today.  Cause you can't stop the  motion of the ocean or the sun in the sky. you can wonder is you wanna. But I never ask why."

"And if you try to hold me down I'm gonna spit in your eye and say.  That you can't spot the beat!"

"You can't stop the river as it rushes to the sea. You can try to stop the hands of time but you know it just can't be. And if they try to stop us, Seaweed I'll call the N double A C P."

"Cause the world keeps spinnin' round and round. And my heart's keeping time to the speed of sound." 

"I was lost til' I heard the drums and I found my way. cause you can't stop the beat. Ever since we first saw the light  a man and woman like to shake it on a Saturday night."

"And so I'm gonna shake and shimmy it with all of my might today. Cause you can't stop the motion of the ocean or the rain from above."

"You can try to stop the paradise we're dreamin of. But you cannot stop the rhythm of two hearts in love to stay."

"Cause you can't stop the beat." We finish sinning. We both fall on the bed laughing. We both look at each other. Our laughs start to fade.

I stare into his eyes. He stars in to mine. We sit there like that for what feels like forever. Then I decide to make a move. 

I smash my lips on his. He kisses me back. We kiss for a few minutes then Harvey pulls away. We start the staring thing again.

"Ella." Harvey says. I hear more music come on. "Let's sing again." I tell him. He sighs. "Ella we really need t-" He says. 

"Let's pretend it didn't happen." I tell him. He sighs again. "Ok."

OMG I'm sorry I did not update yesterday or the day before. 

I was staying the night at my grandma's house the other day. 

then I really wanted to update this because Hairspray Live! Was on yesterday.

But I wanted to make sure that i wound not mess up the music. And it got way to late last night for me to update.

So yeah. BTW the music is from the original movie.

But I loved the musical yesterday.

I am going to go now.
