*Both Serena and May enter the stage facing the audience*

Pokemon Announcer: Ok now these two will battle each other for 5 minutes and whoever wins will recieve a ribbon, collect all 5 and you can advance in the grand festival cup and be crowned the best Pokemon Coordinator in all of Hoenn. Ladies are you both ready??

May and Serena: Yes!

Pokemon Announcer: Ok then begin in 3.. 2.. 1.. Go!

*Serena and May stand far apart from each other and begin the battle*

Serena: Ok Sylveon come on out *Sylveon appears on the stage*

May: Alright Wartortle lets end this! *Wartortle appears on the stage*

Serena: Ok Sylveon use Fairy Wind *Sylveon release a strong wind which hits Wartortle*. Ha looks like your Wartortle needs to wake up a bit

May: That was just a lucky shot, ok Wartortle use Bubble *Wartortle shoot out bubbles really fast*

Serena: Counter with Swift Sylveon *Sylveon uses Swift*

*Both moves collide together and create a smoky explosion*

May: *smirks* Now Wartortle use Ice Beam on the floor! *Wartortle creates an icy floor which makes it hard for Sylveon to stand on*

Serena: Don't let the ice mess you up Sylveon, jump and use Swift. *Sylveon jumps high in the air and releases a bunch of stars*

May: Wartortle use rapid spin to deflect Sylveon's swift *Warortle deflects Sylveon's swift*

Pokemon Announcer: Theres only 3 minutes left on the clock can one of these girls come out victorious!!

Serena: Don't give up Sylveon we can win this! *mentally thinks to herself* i gotta think of an idea quick *gets an idea by looking at Sylveon's feelers* Thats it!

May: Whatever it is you got it won't work on me, now Wartortle let's use out combo move Rapid Bubbles *Warortle starts spinning in a circle while spitting bubbles around itself*

Serena: I was hoping you did that.

May: *Gasp* Wait what??!!

Serena: Now Sylveon create a tornado using swift to lift up Wartortle! *Sylveon lifts Wartortle up with swift* Ok now use Fairy Wind to boost yourself up in the air *Sylveon is now in the air with Warortle*

May: Oh no i can't do anything!!

Serena: Now Sylveon grab Warortle with your feelers and slam him to the ground *Sylveon grabs Warortle and slams him hard which creates a crack on the floor* Follow that by using Swift again!!

*Sylveon shoots out a bunch of stars and it combines to make one huge star and hits Wartortle while he's still on the ground*

Pokemon Announcer: Ok and time!!!

*the buzzer rings*

*May and Serena both wait patiently to find put the results*

Pokemon Announcer: And the winner of the Petalburgh City Pokemon Contest is!!....
