Maybe it was junior year, first grade, or kindergarten. But you'll always remember this person as "your first crush."
They were the first ones that made the butterflies in your stomach flutter, the first ones to make you nervous to talk to someone.
Maybe they liked you back, maybe they never knew you existed. Either way, they mean something to you. They mean the first time you tried to look good in hopes that they would say something. The first time you batted your eyes and twirled your hair and tried to flirt.
The person who made you feel things you've never felt before, and that feeling excited you. It made you want to feel more.
So you started to fall harder... and harder... and harder.
Or maybe you didn't. Maybe all they were to you was the first time you realized you could imagine a future with someone. A future where you were whomever you wanted to be, and there was someone right there beside you, someone to help you and support you every step of the way.
