Blackout

When they first met

Prequel chapter :)

It was a sunny day in LA, made bearable by the cool breeze that chilled the air. everyone was outside enjoying the good weather, except you. You were pushing your car down a small road after the engine stopped working.It was a classic Ford Mustang, painted glossy black. you pushed the car further , reaching the sign for the repair shop, Canelo's Auto and Body. You took the keys out of your car, locking it and made you way in the outside area of the shop.

"HI, can I have some help my car broke down"

"Robbie, go see this girl please". A guy in a blue jumpsuit walked over to you.

"My cars just outside on the road."

He followed you as you led him slightly outside the entrance to the yard."The Mustang?" he said, he looked impressed, his eyes skimming the scratch-less paintwork.

"Yeah"

"Nice car, where'd you get it?"

"bought it off a scrap heap and repaired it, took a while but it was worth it. One of the wheels needs replacing , and the engine stopped working. I had a look at it but i couldn't figure out what was wrong. Not as good with cars as i used to be". Again he looked impressed, at the mention of knowing a bit about cars.He was clearly a car nerd, and someone who became a mechanic because they actually like cars, and not because they're broke and under qualified.He looked as if he was trying to figure you out, looking from the black lather jacket, khaki shirt, and black jeans to the car. 

"I'm Robbie by the way"

"Y/n, It's nice to meet you Robbie"

"I'll start fixing your tire and then have a look at the engine, ok." He walked over to a workbench, bringing a large yellow tool box over to the car and beginning to slide the car jack underneath the mustang. "So, you leave around here?"

"Just moved actually , 5th street." You said looking down at I'm as he concentrated on the car. He occasionally looked up. "Not the best neighbourhood", he commented looking up slightly longer, a frown tugging at the corners of his mouth.

"Maybe not, but is the cheapest"

After a couple hours the car was completely fixed.After  lot of conversation you and Robbie, had discussed football teams, why J.k Rowling shouldn't have killed Fred off, and had an extensive conversation on vintage cars. You had watched for the whole two hours while Robbie fixed the car.It was because you wanted to know ho to fix it if it happened again, certainly not because he was really attractive, especially his face when he was concentrated and his eyes flicked over the car , and then lit up as he figured out what was wrong with it.Not because of that. You exchanged phone numbers and couldn't wait to mat his brother Gabe who he talked about a lot, based off of the way that a smile tugged at his mouth when ever h mentioned him, and the was that , that smile looked no him.Damn he looked goo when he smiled. You realised that all this as going through your head as you stood in the office paying for the work you had done, while Robbie printed your receipt. 

Does this make up for not posting in ages???????? :)
