Zane's POV
-=+=-

I lazily opened my eyes, darkness filling one. His arms were still around me, his warm body right up against mine, and it was keeping me warm, which I didn't mind at all. It was probably around one or two in the afternoon.. I attempted to roll over, a sharp pain shooting through my abdomen. "A-Ah.." I gasped, stopping. I kind of got to where I could see Travis's face, so I eased myself down, nuzzling into his shoulder. "Zane..?" I heard him ask, his voice muffled.

"Hm?"

"I.. I'm sorry.."

"For what?"

He hesitated. "I.. I don't know what got into me.." I didn't really care, except for the soreness of my body. "It's fine.. this sore spot might be a pain in the ass though.." I said, laughing a bit. I heard Travis give an attempt at a weak laugh, but it mostly sounded like a whisper. "Hey, it doesn't seem like that's the only thing on your mind.." I said, pulling my head up to look at him. "N-No.. I'm fine.." he said, his face and ears were a little red.

"Okay.." I said, putting my face back into the crook of his neck. I was mostly staying there because it was getting cold for some reason. I pulled the blanket over my exposed shoulder, snuggling into him. Then I realized one reason I might be cold. Travis seemed to be falling asleep again, so I snuck out from underneath his arm, pain shooting through me, but I got out of the bed, a wave of freezing cold air hitting me. I ran over to my dresser and got some fresh clothes. I decided not to crab a shirt though, because I wanted to get back in bed.

I put some comfy pajama pants on, reluctantly picking up the clothes that were on the floor from last- no- this morning. I think it was about four or five thirty this morning when all of that happened. I couldn't sleep, and apparently he couldn't either. It was early in the afternoon now. I grabbed the blanket that was stained, and then I took most of Travis's clothes, leaving a certain thing for when he woke up, and headed downstairs to throw them in the wash. I grabbed the clothes hamper from the bathroom on my way down, and went into the laundry room. I dumped the clothes into the washer, picking all the whites out. I put them in a pile on top of the dryer, and pulled the dried clothes out, and started folding them, laying each one in another hamper, which I would take back up to my room. Sighing, I popped my fingers and grabbed the hamper full of neatly folded clothes.

Finally, I could lay back down. I snuggled back up into bed, and buried my face into my pillow, deciding not to bother Travis. Shutting my eyes, I sighed. It was really chilly in the house, and I still hadn't noticed why. I got agitated about it and got up to turn up the heater. Then I looked out the window and saw white specks all over it. My face went dark red at first, but then I saw the ground and trees outside was covered in the white fluffy... snow, I realized. I had the childish temptation to go outside and play in it, but just decided to throw on a sweater and go downstairs to make some hot chocolate.

Sighing, I took a scarf and wrapped it around my face like I usually did with my mask, and went outside.
"Holy hell, its cold out here.." I put my cup down on the ground beside the lawn chair on my porch, and ran back inside to grab a coat. I snuggled up and walked back outside, my nose and ears going red from the cold. I sat in the lawn chair under the awning, watching the snow fall so quickly, but it looked pretty. I just barely caught a snowflake out of the corner of my eye. My eyes lit up, the flake disappearing into the snow. Since I was blind in one eye, it was hard to see some things like that, so I think that was one of the only times I've seen any. I heard a few kids out playing in the snow, laughing and giggling. I liked doing things in the snow, but I hated snowball fights. That was the reason I was blinded in an eye.

I heard the door open, and a quiet yawn. My fingers were nearly frozen, but I didn't mind.

"Brr.. its freezing out here, how are you not frozen?" Travis asked. I smiled.

"I suppose I can go back inside now.."

My hands were going red a bit, and I could barely feel my fingers. I stood, grabbing my empty cup. "Uh.. I hope you don't mind.. um.. I may of borrowed a shirt and pair of jeans.. heh.." I didn't mind. I shrugged my shoulders, tapping my numb fingers on my cup. Travis sighed, putting his hands into his pocket. I went to the door where Travis was, and followed him inside. I started rubbing my hands together quickly, trying to make them warm. I took my coat off and threw it on the couch, and started up the stairs. "I'm going to go take a shower, if you get tired of my clothes, find yours in the dryer." I said, looking back. He nodded, a blush barely showing on his face.

"O-Okay. W-Wait.. Zane?"

"Yes?"

"I.. I'm seriously sorry."

".. For what?"

The white haired looked away.

"For everything.."
