When we were above Normandy 88mm flak guns started shooting at us there was 5 other planes.
When they opened the planes hatch I was about to jump but then one of the other planes got shot down .after I jumped I seen that my plane got hit in the wing.
When I got in the ground I had no one with me I was alone so I got my M1 Grand and my map and started heading to the rally point.
But then I heard something I kept walking but right when I did I Seen a German squad searching for us.
I went under a log but when I was about to jump out. A one of the other airborne troops started shooting at them.
So I jumped out and helped him when we were finished we teamed up and started for the rally point.
