We were walking through a field when we heard a plane coming it flew over us it was a German plane .
It was coming back we ran there was a farmhouse the enemy plane started shooting at us then we got to the farmhouse the plane flew off.
But when I looked at the other soldier I seen he got shot in the leg I ripped part of his shirt off to tie it around his leg to stop the bleeding .
But then I seen he had bled out I knew I was alone again I took his dog tag and I put it in my pocket I grabed my rifle and started moving again. But then I seen men moving in.
When they got closer I seen it was American troops I called out to them they let me join them we went into the woods .
We were walkingthrough the woods then one of the men stepped on a mine one of the men went over to the guy .
He grabbed a rock he told the guy to step off the mine slowly when the guy did the other out the rock on the mine it didn't explode.
