The mine didn't explode the pressure of the rock on the mine made it think there was a guy still on it
After that we continued to walk through the woods we got 4 miles then we seen a German base it looked like the Germans left in a rush they left MG 42s.
We walked through the base then we noticed that this was not a German base it was that rally point .
The americans must have ran out of ammo so they took the enemy weapons. they must have ran out of food.
We stayed the night there in the morning we called out to the other troops on the radio that was at the base we stayed there was 5 other men so we defended the base .
We were there two days we got a message on the radio that said move to the west 10 miles there would be a town where there is a squad holding it.
