"you're leaving too?"

"not now, just packing."

"but packing means you're leaving soon."

"eventually."

"eventually could mean anything; now, later, next week, tomorrow. any time."

he sighed and put down the bag. he hopped on the bed so you were face to face now.

"i'm not going anywhere without you. i'm just packing! why can't i pack?" you smiled.

"alright fine. you can pack but if you, at any time, decide to get up and leave i'll have predicted it."

"you're right but i wouldn't do that." he threw some clothes in. "i'm not that stupid."

"stupid enough to pack when you're not leaving soon." he laughed and jumped on the bed again.

"what was that?" he started tickling you and you couldn't contain yourself.

"stop! stop! i didn't say anything!" you squealed.

"huh? what? i didn't catch that." he continued to tickle you until you were both out of breath. when you were done you both laid on the bed together.

you turned to the side and put a hand in his chest finishing up your giggles. you traced circles on his chest until you both were calm and relaxed.

"i'm serious though, joji. i don't want you leaving without me."

"i know. i'd never do that. i always have a plan." he grabbed your chin and looked into your eyes deeply. you loved and hated when he did that, you felt so vulnerable to his stare. after a fee seconds of searching through you like a mysterious book he got up and grabbed something from his bag.

"joji what are you doing?" he came back over with two papers and threw them to you.

"i told you." you opened them to see two plane tickets to new york. "i'd never leave without you."

"seriously?"

"seriously."

"you want me to go back with you?" it seemed kind of unreal. "i don't know.."

"it'll be fun. you and me living together." you froze at the statement. living together?

"uh yeah no that sounds great." you laughed and hugged him. "it's more than great it's amazing!" you got happier just thinking of it.

"i knew you'd come around to it."

dinner time.....

"so y/n and i were planning to go back to new york soon." joji said between chews. max and katt looked at us like they were our parents approving of us going to a party.

"oh really?" katt asked you.

"well i have said i've wanted to go for the longest time now." joji nudged you a bit under the table and you looked to him and smiled. "i'm really exciting to be going."

"we're leaving tomorrow.." joji said and they got all wide eyed.

"jeez i was expecting at least a week or two." katt said. "but if you must."

"looks like it's just going to be us soon." max sighed and smiled. "i don't know if i'll get used to the silence." we all laughed.

"we'll be back before you know it." joji reassured him. he nodded and sighed once more.

"yeah yeah i know." we finished up and headed to our rooms to do some last minute packing. we weren't leaving for another day but we wanted to be sure.

"maybe i shouldn't of chosen those tickets so quickly." joji said and laughed.

"yeah, maybe not." you laughed as well. katt came in and smiled.

"you two fleeing the country or something?" she joked.

"something like that." joji said. she took me in for a hug.

"i'm going to miss you while you're gone." she said and you hugged back.

"i'll miss you too. we'll skype every night and text all the time. i'll be back before you know it."

"i know it's just.." she paused and looked around. "it's going to be so weird here without you." you nodded.

"i know but you'll be fine. you've got max after all." joji laughed and you both turned to look at him.

"max will turn her insane."

"i heard that cunt!" max screamed from the other room and we all laughed.

"seriously though, it'll be fine." you both hugged a little more and you went back to packing.

"so what's the big apple like?" you sat on the bed.

"loud." you both laughed. "but eventful. it's nothing like here."

"big opportunities, so i've heard." you said. he nodded.

"you've heard correctly then." he put his suitcase on the ground and crawled into bed with you.

"who would've known we'd end up here?" you looked at him with loving eyes. he paused and looked at his hands that he twiddled with. he sighed, but not a bad sigh, more of a confession type one.

"before you came around, my life was a tragic mess." he said abruptly. he looked at you and you waited for him to continue. "past lovers were all.. fake to say the least. i didn't know love, but this.... us.... it's real. i know it is. in the short while i've known you i've felt things i didn't even know could be felt. and this goddamned worthless world we live in is easier to live in when you're in it with me. so thank you."

"thank me? what have i done?"

"you showed me there's more to life than just existing." you put a hand on his face and looked at him with hopeful eyes. he held your wrist. you couldn't help but tear up with joy.

"damn.. i was sure you just liked me for free pussy." you both broke into loud laughter at the comment.

"oh god i love you so much." he said while catching his breath.

"i love you just as much." you said and you ended the conversation with a passionate kiss as expected.
