it begins

Ashton pulled me down the stairs and let go of my hand. she ran up to a boy with black shaggy hair not verry long. he had blue eyes and was fairly tall. Ashton ran up and said "do you know pete went?" "yeah, i think he's out back." "oh thanks." she looked back at me and he did to. "oh, Lucas, this is Lacy. Lacy, this is Lucas." she smiled and he smiled too. he was staring at me and said "wow." Ashton looked at him, annoied. she hit him in the chest and he said "what?" "eyes up here, bud." she said and he said "sorry," "it's fine. come on." she grabbed his hand and mine and pulled us up a few stairs up to the dining room.

Bea was sitting next to a boy with blond hair that was upswept. he was trying to talk to her but she was starring at the glass door looking out on a large fountain and lots of land. "Bea, come on. i only broke a little toy-" "A little toy?! you threw my mother's jewelry box across the room!" she screamed. Ashton came up and smacked the boy in the head. "daniel, just leave her alone." Ashton walked over to another seat on the other side of the table and Bea looked at her. she shrugged. she waved me over and said "hurry. sit down. if the she beast comes in and someone is standing, we all will be dead."

she pulled me into a seat and two girls came in. "that's Kat and Kyla. Kyla is the dark hair'd one. and Kat is the orange head. i know its red, but it looks orange. her  brother is Adam. Kat is really out spoken and Kinda mean. Kyla doesn't talk. she had something tramatic happen to her like 2 years ago. now she doesn't say a word. she's really mean though. all Kyla does is pull pranks on you and throw stuff at you. Kat isn't always mean, but when Kyla's around, she is." Ashton explained. a blond boy came in and looked around. his eyes rested on me and he smiled. he looked down and smirked. "eye's up here buddy." i said and he looked at me. everyone heard and everyone but Kyla and Kat laughed. his face became red and he got mad. i smiled at him and Ashton hit my arm. "that was hilarious!" she was cracking up.

she stopped laughing and she had a look of fear in her eyes. i looked over and saw an older man. he was tall and lanky. his cheeks were boney and his eyes were caved in. Ashton was shaking in fear. it wasn't very noticable, but Lucas was holding her hand. the old man looked at her and smiled. "Ashton, pleaser seeing you again." "you too, Doctor phelps." she put on a fake smile and he said "i was just looking for you." "oh god." i heard her say under her breath. "umm, Doctor.." i stood up and said. i looked at Ashton and she shook her head. "phelps. we're about to have dinner, and where i'm from, you wait untill after dinner to talk to someone." i said and everyone looked at me. Kyla and Kat were looking at me like i was stupid, Cale had a look that said 'she's gonna get it' and Bea, Daniel, Lucas, and Ashton were looking like i needed to run for my life. "miss Gordon, you were raised in a somewhat... if you would say, disfouctional... household." "excuse me?" i said and Kat laughed. "your Brother has been the one acting as your gaurian for the past 6 months. please don't lecture me on how to run my house hold." he said and i licked my teeth. "your one to ta-" "Doctor Phelps! we were just about to eat." Effie walked in and said quickly, cutting Ashton off. she looked at Ashton and lead Doctor Phelps out to the main room. she opened the door and let Doctor Phelps out. she shut the door and walked back into the dinning room.

"i hate that man." she mumbled while walking to a door on the right. she quickly walked back out and said "where's Adam?" she looked at Kat and she said "in the library." Madam DePrey sighed and said "Ashton, go get him." "what about me? i'm his sister." "because i know your the one who told Doctor Phelps to come see Ashton." Kat smiled and said "i have no idea what your talking about." "Kat... one day, someone is going to beat the shit out of you and your going to diserve it." everyone looked at Effie "can i take lacy?" Ashton asked as a boy with brown hair walked through the door. he had black thick rimmed glasses and a blue binni on. i couldn't make out any specific details. he walked up to Kat and said "why would you do that?" he was taller fairly taller than her and they didn't look alike.  "Adam,sit down. your late."

he shrugged and sat down in a seat next to Kyla. he took her hand in his and he looked around the room. his eyes rested on me. he smiled and i smiled back. Kyla noticed and glared at me. she squeezed Adam's had very tightly and he pulled his hand out of her grasp and said "ow! god!" he rubbed his hand and Kyla and looked at him. he took her hand and Madam DePrey walked in with some food. she set in on the table and said "now... we have a new guest here. Lacy." she said and looked at me. "lacy? are you an old lady?" Kat said and Cale and Kyla laughed. Adam looked at them and shook his head. "at least i'm not named after an animal."  i said and Adam laughed. Kat got mad and the glass in front of me shattered. i screamed and jumped up. everyone looked. Cale laughed. Kat looked pleased and Kyla was just starring st the broken glass. "how did that happen?" i asked and looked for some one to answer. "it's probobly just the pressure incressing that caused it to shatter." Madam DePrey said. "oh." i said and sat back down. everyone shut up and got their food.

after dinner Ashton said "i'm gonna give you a tour of the house." "this place is huge." "yeah, well, part of the house." she said and smiled and we heard a scream. Lucas dropped the plates in his hands and they broke. "shit!" "Lucas! mouth!" Effie said and Lucas said  "sorry." we ran towards the scream and found out it was Kat. she was holding her wrist and Adam popped up behind me. he held my shoulders and carefully moved me out of the way. as his hads touched my shoulder, there was a strong shock. "ow!" we both said and pulled away from each other. Kyla smiled and Adam looked at her. he bent down to Kat and she was holding her wrist. there were tears in her eyes and he said "what happened?" "i t-triped on one of the stairs. and i-i hurt my wrist." it was swolen and bruised. Effie came over and picked her up. she walked her to somwhere and said "go on." Ashton took a look at her phone and said "sorry, i have to go skype my dad. i'll give you that tour tomorrow, 'kay?" i nodded and she ran off. i walked back to the Main room looked around. there was a brige like way above the etrance to the dining room that lead somewhere. someone walked up and stood next to me. i looked over and saw it was Cale. "hi." "ugg." i walked off but he grabbed my hand and pullled me up to him. his grip was strong. i tried to pull away but his grip got stronger. "let me go." i said and tried to pull away again. "Cale!" i heard Daniel say and walk over. "let her go. now." he let me go and walked off somewhere. "sorry. i-" i started to say and he said "why are you saying sorry? it's not your fault." "sorry, it a habbit." "why?" "it's nothing. are you and Bea dating?" "hopefully. but after this morning, maybe not." "what happened?" "we were out in the square, about 5 miles down the road, this girl i used to know started flirting with me, and Bea flipped." "oh." "yeah. come on, short stack." he slung his arm around my neck and said "you share a room with Ashton, right?" i nodded and he looked around. "its almost lights out. let go." we walked over to where the rooms were and he took me to the girls corrador. "night." "night." i opened the door and walked in on Ashton and Lucas talking. "hey.." she said and got up. "i have to go to the bathroom, bye." i opened my box and got out my pillows and bed set. i made my bed and laid down. "Lacy?" lucas asked. "yeah?" "why are you in here?" "i hearing voices in my head. and then people would appear in front of me at random sometimes dead. it was really scary." "does it still happen?" "yeah. i've gotten used to it." "oh." i yawned and said "goodnight." "night." i fell asleep.
