"Lacy, you need to wake up." i opened my eyes to Daniel kneeling next to my bed. "Daniel, what wrong?" "you just need to wake up." i got out of bed and noticed i was in only my underwear and a tee-shirt. Daniel laughed and turned around. i grabbed some of my boxers and slipped them on and followed him down to the dinning room. Kat was sleeping in Adams lap and he was laying his face on the table. Cale was lying on the floor and Kyla was asleep on some chairs she pulled together. Lucas and Ashton were sleeping on each other and Bea was walking around. "Lacy." she walked over to me and said "i need to talk to you." "why can't i sleep?" Bea laughed and i followed her to a room on the left. we walked down a hall and into a confrence room.

Daniel was with us and he shut the door. "okay. so i told you last night i would explain right?" i nodded. "okay. you know how you asked me how i looked just like Eleanor?"i nodded. "you watch the vampire diaries?" i shook my head and said "barley." "you know how Elana is a dopple gangger of Kathrine?" i nodded. "thats what i'm like." "that's impossable! you guy's are crazy." "we're all crazy here." Daniel said and i looked at him. "why were you able to make Cale let go of me and make Adam leave. you can make people do what you want." "ummm... i'm only here to make sure you don't hurt anyone." "what the hell is he?" "don't cuss." "why are you two being to nice to me?" "Lacy, it's not as simp-" "really?" "okay! fine! i'm a doppleganger, he can compelle people, and you can switch bodies with people and controle their actions and a lot of other crazy shit." "Bea...." Daniel said and walked towards me. i backed up and said "what the... you guy's need serious help." i ran to the door and opened it. i walked out and walked into someone.

i looked to see it was Kat and Adam. "you're a....." Kat looked at me in tears. "Kat-" "is this why?!" she looked at Adam and he said "Kat, it's not like-" "shut up." she walked away and Adam tried to grab my arm. i pulled away from him and said "you guy's are freeks." i walked off and into the main room. Kat looked at me and said "Lacy-" "what?! everyone has been telling me i have a 'power' and some really crazy shit! this isn't normal! i found out i was crazy and came here to get help! not this! i never wanted-" she took me by the shoulders and said "this isn't your fault. it's just plain fate. look. don't get close to Adam-" "i know he's Kyla's boyfr-" "that's not why. Adam.... your going to get hurt. badly. and i mean physically. not hurt like 'oh, he broke my heart.' i mean you be in a hospital. i'm not threating. i'm trying to make sure you don't get killed." "Kat. what are you talking abo-" "let her go Kat." i heard Daniel say and Kat said "you scared her to death." from the looks of it, i was the youngest here. everyone was almost 15 and i was only 13. "Daniel, is she really-" "yeah." Kat looked at me and said "watch out." i turned around to Daniel and walked away. i ran up to my room and locked the door. i dug through my box and got out my old teddy bear. i grabbed it and laid down on my bed.

i was almost asleep when someone opened the door. "get out." i said and someone sat on my bed. i didn't even have to look up to know who it was. "Lacy..." he said. "get out." i said not looking at him. he tried to touch my shoulder and i bolted up. "stop. i swear, if anyone of you freeks touch me, i will call the cops." "Lacy, you don't get-" "what don't i get, Adam?! i'm in a nut house with a bunch of freeks!  Kat is so freeking bi-polar i'm getting whiplash! Ashton started yelling at me for something i had no controle over!....." i started to cry and i fell to my knee's. Adam picked me up before i hit the floor and held me in his arms. i cried and cried. someone walked up to the door and i let Adam go and looked over at Kyla. she wasn't mad. she just looked at us and nodded her head. "Kyla!" Adam said and the next thing that happened was shocking. "it's okay." Kyla said and walked away. Adam stood and sat on the bed. i looked at him and looked at the door. i looked at my feet then to the ceiling then back at Adam. "i'm sorry." i said and he looked up at me. he shook his head and said "this isn't your fault." he got up and i said "thats what Kat said." "look, Kat is a great person.... Lacy.... Lacy!" everything became blurry and soon faded. i fell to the floor and lost conciousness.

"she doesn't know. Evangeline never told her what was going on. they put her with us for a reason! i'm trying to keep these kids safe. thats including her. i'm not letting you move her." Effie said to a bunch of people "how many people know?" an old man said.  "there aren't very many kid-" "how many?!" "2. maybe 3. i don't know if everyone has figured it out. it's only a madder of time." i looked around, confused at where i was.  ther were 7 people in this room. 3 girls and 4 guys. the man who had just spoken said "who are the 3 people?" "sir-" "who?!" he stood up and slammed his fist on the table. i noticed i was standing in the back of the room and no one noticed me. "Bea, Adam, and maybe Ashton." "if Adam know's, Kat is bound to find out." "Adam would tell-" "i'm not talking about that! the conection. and if she's there... had Adam been acting different?"  "are you saying-" "yes." Effie put a hand over her mouth and sat back in the chair behind her. "Lacy....." she looked up, directly at me. everyone followed her eyes and were confused. "if she is, what are we going to do?" "we have to cut off all comunication to the outside world and limit her ability go go places alone." she nodded. "how do we know it's her?" "we'll test her." "how do we know Adam's the one?" tears started filling her eyes. "we'll leave that to you." he smiled evily and said "goodbye, Anna." he said and everyone left. she sat in the chair and looked at me. once everyone left she said "why are you here?" "me?" "well, your the only one in the room." "i-i don't know. i fainted and ended up here. why are you the only one who can see me?" "no reason. other people found out, didn't they?" she ruefully smiled and i slowly nodded. "who?" "Kat and Daniel." she nodded. "i excpected Daniel to know." she got up and said "you heard everything, didn't you?" i nodded. "i'm not going to let anyone hurt you, okay?" i nodded and everything went blurry again. my head started hurting and i fell to the floor. everything went black....... again.......... i'm getting really tiered of this......
