my eyes slowly opened to see everyone around my bedside. even Ashton. bruises covered her arms and she had a long cut on cheek. "what-" Adam was facing the other way and he quickly turned around to face me. his eyes widened and he took a deep breath. Kat was sitting next to me with her elbows on my bed. she looked between us and put her head in her hands. Cale walked out and Kyla said "I'm going to go find Pete." Kat nodded and Kyla walked out. Adam shut the door and said "what happened?" "noth-" "you've been out for 2 day's!" Ashton said. "no. i was only out for like 10 minutes." "it probobly drained her energy so much that she passed out." Daniel said. "okay.... so she can't controle it?" Bea asked. Daniel shook his head. "come on." he walked out the door and i got out of bed. it was freezing and i shivered. Adam wrapped and arm around me and i tensed. he noticed and said "look, i'm not going to hurt you." "yeah." i grabbed my sweater and slipped it on. i followed Daniel down the stairs and into the hall across the room. he turned right and walked up some stairs. he opened a door and we went into a room with computers and bean bags and tvs. i sat down on the arm of a white couch and Lucas and Bea sat on the couch. Kat sat in one of the coputer chairs as did Adam and Daniel. "okay. so...." Kay said and i said "i'm really confused. just explain everything. i don't care if i've already heard it." "okay.  La-" "Adam, Lacy. i need to see both of you. and for the rest of you, get to bed. its 12 in the morning."

everyone nodded and walked off. me and Adam got up and she said "sit." we sat back down and she said "Adam. you know that storie your dad used to tell you? about the girl who was born into-" he nodded. "yeah." "it's true." "i know." "what?" i said and Effie looked at me. "one day, there's going to be a girl. between the ages of 12 to 16. she's special. she's........ the reason. no one knows what reason. but there's someone who gets her killed before we find out what the reason is. he kills her. but not intentionally. the girl can switch bodie's with someone. and a lot of other things." "so your saying.... i'm the girl?" i said and she nodded. "the boy loves the girl and she loves him. it's kinda like romeo and juliet. but, even if the boy stay's away, the person closest to her will bring her lower than her grave." "so, basically. Lacy dies either way." Adam said and Effie replied "not exactly. it said 'lower than her grave.' that could mean a lot of things-" "why am i here?" Adam asked.  "Adam..." he gulped. "i'm the guy, aren't i?" she nodded. "okay. so, i can switch bodies with people and some other powers. what about you?" "i can.... see the future." "oh."  "Kyla's leaving." "what?!" Adam screamed at what Effie said. "why?! she didn't do something wrong! why-" "her parents found out that Lacy was here and didn't want her having any part of it. go to bed. i want you rested up for morning." "what are we going to do about-" "go to bed!" she said and we walked out.

i walked over to my room and opened the door. Daniel was sleeping on the floor and Lucas and Ashton were on two chairs. Kat and Bea were on her bed. "why is everyone in here?" Adam asked and i shrugged. Adam whistled and everyone woke up. Daniel and Bea fell right back to sleep and everyone else left. i kicked Daniel and he left to. i undressed and got into bed. "Lacy?" Bea said. "wha?" "do you remember Daniel?" "what do you mean 'remember'? i mean, he's familiar, but..." i shrugged. "you guy's grew up together untill you were 7." she said. "what?" then i had a sharp pain in my mind. like a head ach. i fell to the ground and held my head. images flashed through my mind, like one of those old photo slide shows. slowly they were individual pictures, but then it speed up into one moving picture. it was a girl with black wavy hair and a boy with blond spiked up hair. they were running around, the girl chasing the boy. then they grew. her hair had lightened into a dark brown and his was ow dirty blond. they were sitting and he pushed a grass hopper in her face. she screamed and ran off, her dress flowing in the wind behind her. they grew into me and Daniel. Daniel chasing after me. it was like a movie. a white dress was flowing behind me. i came back to reality in an instant. i was on my hands a knee's, breathing heavy. Bea was rubbing my back. "what happened?" she said. "i saw. it was like a flash back. but then it went further. like now, but somwhere different." "AU." "AU? why are you talking about fanf-" "Alternet universe. you can see there. basically a different time line. you can see it." my eyes were getting heavy. "come on. it take a lot of energy out of you." she pulled me into bed. "go to sleep." i happily closed my eyes. then she screamed.
